Stop the presses!
BREAKING: DECA Beer Company is The Greater Houston Area’s newest licensed brewery. Can’t wait to start rocking your world with our tasty beers. https://t.co/Wo2mlRMzOj
What we do in our free time...
Enjoy a pint of delicious beer made by our friends around the greater Houston area.
Nice job @SigmaBrewingCo. This is the perfect beer for a 72 degree, patio table, rainy day stopover.
Cheers!
So, just like that, we are in the ques and rafts business. And repurposed letters give us a presence.
Ok, so we don’t sell ques or rafts, but we do make darn fantastic beer. Soon, a trip through those doors will lead to the wall of magical taps. Cheers
Everything moved to the new space today to get ready for buildout. Now it’s just a matter of contracts, permits, and avoiding setbacks. Opening a brewery is no walk in the park... but at least there’ll be beer along the way... and squirrels.
Sign and window dressing coming soon
Today, I sent Gov. Abbott a letter regarding the economic outlook for many of our businesses. The time has come to lift restrictions, like the 51% TABC rule and other burdensome restrictions, that continue to interfere with the ability of Texans to carry out their livelihoods.
State Rep @ErinForYall understands what a dire situation Texas' craft alcohol manufacturers are in. Recent loosening by @texasabc helps but it won't ensure the industry survives. I hope @GovAbbott hears the pleas from legislators and the public. @TXCraftBrewers@TexasDistillers
@GovAbbott@bizfacilities Unless you own a Brewery! @GovAbbott is single-handedly destroying a once prospering industry employing lots of of amazing people
Only 14% of Texas craft breweries think they'll be in business one year from now if @GovAbbott & @TexasABC don't work together & fix this.
“By this time next summer, our industry could be really a shell of what it is today."

.@GovAbbott As long as Texas remains open, brewery tasting rooms/beer gardens should not be among the only businesses forced to remain closed. #SaveTexasBreweries by allowing them to reopen for service under the same health, safety & social distancing rules as restaurants.
