For the MOU to hold and result in a lasting peace, we must restrict aid to Israel immediately & make it clear that we will not defend them should Iran opt to strike in response to Israel’s attacks in Lebanon.
Israel has not responded to our verbal & written demands—that is not going to change, unless we change it by taking action.
Israel claims sovereignty & continues to threaten our peace deal, yet they rely on us to bail them out. This is calculated.
We have to respond accordingly and stop this cycle once and for all.
Lead with action: remove their leverage, otherwise they will not take us seriously.
An open SOH & peace in the region have to be our focus. Israel is playing spoiler—we must limit their ability to do so.
Hezbollah launched an attack tonight in which 4 Israeli soldiers were essentially incinerated. I assume Israel will hit back very hard. No MOU or final agreement will change who these terrorists are.

Just weeks ago, the United States was fully in lockstep with Israel’s war against Iran. Now, the administration’s tone has shifted dramatically, with President Trump and JD Vance publicly criticizing Netanyahu and signaling support for diplomacy.
Is this a genuine change in strategy and a real reassessment taking place inside the White House? Or is the administration simply creating distance from Israel as it looks ahead to the midterm elections?
After years of near-unconditional support, what explains such a sudden reversal in rhetoric and policy?
@DecampDave joins us to discuss.
The US is not paying Iran anything under this deal, and the people who keep saying this like @ChrisMurphyCT -- or, worse, who are saying that the US is paying Iran $300 billion, like @amyklobuchar -- are outright lying.
The money that flows to Iran's is Iran's money: that the US froze and refused to give back but will now release under the deal. The $300b is the maximum Iran can get. That's not from the US or from Americans, but from a private fund financed by the Persian Gulf dictatorships and their oligarchs.
These are just Democrats trying to prove to AIPAC and the pro-Israel lobby that they're more hawkish on Iran than Trump/Vance.
BREAKING: Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has published a scathing piece on 'Jewish terrorism' in the West Bank.
“The daily terrorism that is managed, directed, encouraged and supported by the Israeli government can no longer be tolerated.”
Has Trump or Vance actually called for Israel to withdraw from southern Lebanon? That's what it'll take for the MoU to stick, or the US cutting Israel off altogether and leaving it on its own.
Every Republican defending this MOU knows that if a Democrat had signed a document like this, they'd be blasting them to kingdom come. It's actually worse than the JCPOA. Iran made out like bandits. And now they know they can bring us to our knees with a few mines.
The MOU isn't a "humiliation." It starts the process of replacing the insane anti-logic of Iran hawkism with the reasonable approach to U.S.-Iran relations that should have prevailed in the first place.
The war, however, was a humiliation. Hope it's truly over.
