DeCharity Foundation
The DeCharity Foundation was established on November 25, 2024, initiated by Daram CTO. Daram originated on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain, inspired by a tweet from Ethereum’s founder, Vitalik Buterin (Vitalik), on October 7, 2024. In his tweet, Vitalik expressed his hope for MEME coin communities to create a charitable DAO, enabling community members to directly participate in charitable decisions and activities, bringing positive change to the world.
The Daram community has always been actively involved in public welfare and charity, focusing on supporting autistic children and other groups in need. To date, the Daram community has successfully held seven charitable events, providing tangible support and warmth to those in need.
To encourage more cryptocurrency enthusiasts to participate in charity, Daram’s CTO decided to establish “Crypto Charity Day” and “DeCharity”. Moving forward, the foundation will continue striving to bring charity to life, helping more autistic children and other vulnerable groups.

In a heartfelt outreach, the Daram Community visited a remote village near Kathmandu and brought joy to children at a local primary school. With the support of the school’s headteacher, our six-member team distributed special gift packages to each student:

Distribution process: Children and their families have been appointed at the Day Care Centre on the distribution day. Four families have not come because they are sick, have disabilities, or too old, we bring the donations to their home. Each family has received:
· 10 to 20 kg of rice, as one month provision,
· 2 bottles of fish sauce,
· 2 bottles of soy sauce,
· One bottle of cooking oil.
Number of beneficiaries: 15 poorest families - 53 people among which 33 children.

“First, I want to send my gratitude to Daram community for helping this monthly food support to my children so that they have enough food, and that they can have enough time and be healthy for focusing on education. Besides this has helped my family to cut down the expense in buying monthly food. As parents of the children, we are so happy to get this support from Daram community for our children, then they can have a better future like other children, it is my pleasure to send my gratitude to the community (Daram community) for caring in nourishing the children, so they will stay healthy and have access to better future. The story of Rachanna, Rachanny and Lai Heang: The three sisters share a rented room, where they live with their parents. Their father works tirelessly as a motorbike taxi driver to provide for the family, while their mother, weakened by illness, stays at home. Despite the challenges, the girls shine at school. They are eager learners, driven by curiosity and a love for discovery. For them, school is not just a place of education but a gateway to new possibilities. Their father, deeply invested in their future, encourages them to study hard, believing that education is the key to a better life.

“Providing cooking ingredients as well as rice to my grandchildren and myself is happiness more than I can describe. It helps to lighten my worries about not having something to eat daily and I am so happy now. Because of this support, I would be very miserable because sometimes we really don’t have food to eat.”

The story of Chenda and Bopha: The two sisters now live with their grandparents, who took them in to protect them after their stepfather sold one of their siblings for money.
At the Centre, they find a sense of stability. They come every day to enjoy balanced meals, take showers, and brush their teeth—simple routines that were once out of reach. They even visited a dentist for the first time, a milestone in their well-being. Beyond essential care, the Centre is a place of joy and creativity, where they can play with friends, sing, and draw, reclaiming the childhood they deserve.
3. Rotha ‘s grandmother Prom Pov
“I am more than happy compared to before which I could not even earn a very small pack of rice to eat day by day and it is difficult for me. My grandson is orphan, and he has stayed with me since he was little baby, when he had just learned to walk a few steps. Since then, I must earn to buy food for him by selling broom on the street. As I had been walking from one place to one place, sometime people pity on me and give me food. And now I get this donation, I am very happy more than what I can say because my life is so difficult. I have only one daughter who is not kind with me, and I am so happy now until I shed the tear.”

The story of Rotha: Rotha and his grandmother, Prom Pov, once lived inside a tent under the tree. When the rainy season began, the EKL team, during one of its visits, discovered that their fragile roof was on the verge of collapsing with the next downpour. Moved by her determination, EKL stepped in to rebuild their home.
To make ends meet, Prom Pov earns a little money by cleaning and washing the clothes for people, and she sometimes still sells broom on the street. Despite their hardships, Prom Pov remained steadfast in her hope for Rotha’s future, encouraging him to attend the EKL Centre to learn and grow.
Today, Prom Pov and Rotha have a larger, safer room where they can rest, and a terrace where they can share meals and moments with family. Before joining EKL, Rotha had a very difficult times to catch at school. Now, with the guidance of teacher Tevi of EKL, he is gradually catching up, step by step.

Many suggested donating to charity, which I support. I love using crypto for charity. My requirement for charity is that the receiving organization has to be crypto-enabled, and tracking must be allowed to the end beneficiary. Transparency. Welcome suggestions.
A few "other projects" suggested burn the received tokens. I can see the angle there. 😂
Airdrops require the most effort from the wallet operation side, and selecting who to drop to will create more "debate".
A few suggested adding to LP. I did some tests yesterday. Think I might have finally got the hang of it. From this address, the MEV experience is accute. Good learning experience. And fun weekend exercise. Only a few years late, I know.
Currently, I am leaning towards doing more to support liquidity. I don't care if funds on this address make or lose money. I think this is an indirect way to give back to our community too. 🙏
