There's no legal grounds to simply announce a VAT freeze after its been adopted and there's no way a new bill is passed in Parliament before 1 May.
You're singing and dancing about a victory here that has no legal standing.

The only way this VAT hike is legally scrapped is for the court to make that decision. Lawfare is now the only weapon against that hike.

Section 7(4) of the Vat Act provides no legal grounds for you to simply announce a reversal without the relevant bill being adopted in parliament before 1 May.
