Two people were taken to hospital yesterday after rear-ending a snow plow.
The driver of the car said they did not see the plow until it was too late.

Hwy 3 travellers west of P.A. to Shellbrook can expect delays. In addition to twinning just west of Prince Albert, crews begin maintenance work from the jct. of Hwy 40 to about 15 km east of Shellbrook, Monday. Pilot vehicles will be taking vehicles through the work zone.

Conditions have improved in time for weekend travel. Crews dealt had their work cut out for them this week with wind, snow and dropping temperatures. The good news is the temps are warming up, so any icy, slippery sections can be dealt with salt/sand. Thanks for your patience!

There are more than 300 snowplows throughout SK. Snow & ice removal equipment is mobilized before, during and after storms. Operators are available 24 hr/day, 7 days/week. Hwys are prioritized based on the classification of the highway and traffic volumes
