“No disrespect but honestly… no one really cares about the Saudi League outside of social media debates. Cristiano is one year older than me and if I’m being truthful, I think he should’ve retired already. I don’t even understand why he keeps pushing himself this hard at this stage.

People will get angry because it’s Ronaldo and he has millions of loyal fans, but sometimes I actually watch Saudi League matches, especially the big games, and Cristiano is no longer the player people pretend he is. He doesn’t dominate matches, he doesn’t control games, and even the simple tap-ins are becoming difficult for him. Most of the time the team carries him now rather than the other way around.

Winning another trophy there doesn’t suddenly change football history. The last meaningful trophy people seriously celebrated from him was probably during his Juventus days, and even then expectations were completely different. I genuinely don’t understand why every single thing he does now gets treated like the greatest achievement ever.

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest players in football history, nobody can erase that. But football moves on. Age catches everyone eventually, even the legends, and sometimes knowing when to stop is also part of greatness.”
