@hadj_gesinde It is not possible for the 13th Chief Imam to be his son. This man died in 1980, 3 to 4 years before he was born. He could be a relative of the 10th Chief Imam. Perhaps his nephew.
@9jaOriginal@harmus14 APC's strength lies in the ability to face this reality.
1. Saliu Mustapha: Strongest APC politician.
2. APC has a strong opposition
3. APC's best shot: Kwara Central candidate.
4. 2027: A new election cycle.
5. Decline in APC win % since 2019
6. Kwara PDP supports national APC.
@Afc_ArsenalX1 Get another LW that will be a starter and offer Leandro Trossard a year or two as reward for his hard work. Sometimes, you need players with more experience that could change games. He has done that consistently over the years since he came in during the January Transfer Window.
@PiersUncensored@piersmorgan@KemiBadenoch Piers Morgan: Are you inspired by people putting their faith in Nigerians?
Kemi Badenoch: Its a good sign that Britain is a multi-racial country.
She hates anything "Nigeria" until she realises she's rooted in Nigeria & journalists will not stop referencing "Nigeria" in her root.
@PiersUncensored@piersmorgan@KemiBadenoch She's confused. "Cultural Christian" and she doesn't "use a bible as a textbook". She often doesn't go to church but she doesn't want to see Christianity disappear.
@adeyanjudeji That is why some of us don't take you seriously after the election. "I won't leave my house on Election Day" but we will criticise the whole 4 years. We can better say that our votes don't count but to stay away from election & lead a protest against bad governance every year?
@InsideIlorin_NG Poor man. Despite being a two-term governor & Chairman, NGF, he has never used all his positions to negotiate anything with the Federal Government for the Kwarans. We saw how vivrant Governor Dapo Abiodun, Governor Uba Sanni, Hope Uzodima & other negotiate for their States.
@TheAkeweje KWSG: As a responsive govt, the administration has always intervened every time there is anything that could hurt the citizens, irrespective of whether the infrastructure involved is a federal facility.
Me: The University of Ilorin road from Tipper Garage is abandoned by KWSG
Last month, during the airport commissioning in Iperu, Ogun State, people complained about the state of the Ibadan—Ijebu Ode road. Actions were taken on the valid concerns.
Yesterday, the Federal Executive Council awarded N295bn for the dualisation of the Ibadan-Ijebu-Ode Road in Ogun and Oyo states, “which runs 56km in two”.
Ogun State has never had this level of attention and deliberate infrastructural intervention from the Federal Government at any point prior to the President BAT administration.
God bless Prince Dapo Abiodun CON.
God bless Ogun State ❤️
God bless Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
God bless Nigeria. 🇳🇬
Ire o! @DapoAbiodunCON
Kwara State missed the chance of influencing this type of project in the last 7+ years. Simply because of emotions. I hope Kwarans will learn politics before 2027. We need a person with Federal "connection" @egi_nupe
STATEMENT OF APPRECIATION TO PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU, GCFR, ON THE AWARD OF STRATEGIC CONTRACTS WORTH OVER ₦1 TRILLION AND ₦178 BILLION IN KADUNA STATE
On behalf of the Government and people of Kaduna State, I extend our profound appreciation to His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the Federal Executive Council for the gracious approval and award of transformative infrastructure contracts that will indelibly reshape the economic and social landscape of our state.
Foremost among these is the Kaduna Light Rail Project; an ambitious undertaking spanning a 30-kilometre corridor from Rigachikun to Sabon Tasha, alongside a 20-kilometre line from Millennium City to Rigasa, forming a 50-kilometre metropolitan network with an estimated value of One Trillion Naira. Complementing this is the critical reconstruction of the Mando–Kaduna–Birnin Gwari road, a 122-kilometre artery valued at ₦178 billion. Together, these projects represent not merely investments in infrastructure, but a deliberate re-engineering of mobility, security, and economic vitality across Kaduna State.
The Federal Government’s support for the light rail project is both historic and catalytic. It reinforces our vision of an integrated transport ecosystem, anchored by the 24-kilometre Bus Rapid Transit system currently underway. Kaduna has taken a pioneering role in Northern Nigeria by articulating a comprehensive State Transport Policy, one that privileges efficiency, safety, environmental sustainability, and affordability. Through initiatives such as subsidised Compressed Natural Gas buses, modern terminals, and structured transit corridors, we are systematically positioning Kaduna as a premier hub for transportation and logistics.
That Kaduna has been selected to lead this transformation; emerging as only the second state in the federation to embark on a light rail system, speaks to the confidence reposed in our vision and our capacity for execution. It is a testament to a leadership philosophy at the centre that recognises potential, rewards preparedness, and advances development without prejudice.
Equally significant is the rehabilitation of the Mando–Birnin Gwari road, a project imbued with both symbolic and practical importance. I recall, with clarity and respect, Mr. President’s visit to Birnin Gwari in the lead-up to the 2023 general elections, at a time when the area was beset by insecurity and infrastructural neglect. His promise then was unequivocal. Today, that promise is being fulfilled. This road will not only enhance connectivity but also strengthen security, facilitate agricultural productivity, and restore confidence to communities long burdened by isolation.
Kaduna State remains resolute in its commitment to the diligent execution of these projects. We view them not as isolated interventions, but as enduring legacies; foundations upon which a more prosperous, secure, and connected future will be built.
We thank Mr. President for his steadfast commitment to Kaduna State and to the equitable development of our nation.
Senator Uba Sani, CON
Governor of Kaduna State
@DAMIADENUGA I consider this a maltreatment because this woman may be tempted to use the knife. This is why every woman needs a husband. We should stop being an advocate of a single woman. This girl could be better handled by her father. A woman cannot train her children alone.
Nigeria have 3 national archives (Enugu, Ibadan and Kaduna) and most Nigerians have never stepped inside one.
Nigeria is a rich country deep rooted in history but currently abandoned and decaying.
This one has been overtaken by rats and it shows you how we value history.
There is no one that is as influential as Bukola Saraki in Kwara State since the demise of Oloye, his father. Even 15 years after Bukola left office, the Governor is still having a nightmare about him. He has more influence in the Presidency than the No 1 indigene of the State.
In Kwara politics, Bukola Saraki is still 10x more influential than Lai Mohammed.
A Bukola out of power was more powerful than a Lai in power. Not to talk of Lai not being in power now.
If anyone should say they retired Bukola, it shouldn't be Lai.
Funny how someone built his name by standing with the people & speaking hard truths against greedy politicians, only to get close enough to start wining & dining on the table with govt. Now hustling to please both sides & the once fearless voice suddenly sounds very careful.
