@danobrien20 Hope you're better at economics studies than recognising false reports regarding aviation.
I travel all over the world and Dublin is up there with the best
@niall1405@ConorMacNam86@Michaelkelly707 And a quota doesn't address this. You do realise the difference. Curfew means no flights, Quota means a limited number but doesn't dictate when they fly
@niall1405@ConorMacNam86@Michaelkelly707 Now do you mean night quota or night curfew? There is a night quota in Dublin but not a curfew. A curfew for an island nation is impractical.
@robertfromcork@DublinAirport@lukeming I'd love you to give examples of where to get cheap sandwiches in Dublin cause my experience is that they are around €8 and above in most restaurants.
@chumponabike@Michael54325847 The land had been "sterilised" under permission granted to the original owners of the land for 2 properties in the area. That was the reason the first permission was refused. Nothing was permitted to be built there.
@gracemarylaura@eoghancorry Except there us no sign of any sort of normal flights returning soon. Few days in a hotel in Dubai would cost more than €800
@TanyaCox77 @BarryAndrewsMEP@Ryanair@fiannafailparty@businessposthq If we want to attract people with his calibre then we need to pay them their worth. If you want to compete for talent then you need a competitive package.
@RothaiRambler @DarraghOBrienTD If there is demand then why are Airlines not flying to these destinations in greater numbers?
What development are you talking about. There is plenty of capacity in regional airports. Are you suggesting subsidies for those airports?
@JerryMelinn@PBresnihan Many of the transatlantic flights and some European flights are only viable because of the transfer passengers. These flights bring thousands of jobs to Ireland, pilots, cabin crew and ground staff. Hotels and hospitality and a return to the state in taxes and dividends.
@gmguy7@DublinAirport@flightradar24 It closes because neither Ryanair nor Aer Lingus want to fly on Christmas day so there isn't the demand to make the airport financially viable to open. It's an annual decision based on demand.
@kevinbluett@flightradar24 Dublin closes because Ryanair and Aer Lingus both opt not to fly on Christmas day not the other way around.
Airlines are asked for their schedule around June and then a decision is taken whether opening the airport on Christmas day is viable.
@TheLiberal_ie Well the car you posted is in a private car park. Neither Guards nor a traffic warden can issue a fine or ticket for a car in a private car park as I'm sure you well know.
You should have let the owners of the car park know as they could clamp them.
@transportdublin@Michaelkelly707 It wasn't even a rebound. It was a legislative change. Political decision as they didn't want the name Dublin associated with the company running Cork.
