FAO reports show 1.3 to 1.6 billion tons of food are lost each year, worsening food insecurity and harming our 🌍 environment with greenhouse gas emissions and water waste. 🌱

➡️ Yesterday, we were at the @interregnextmed info day in #Valencia to know the insights of the new call for proposals!

We are testing a pilot system that integrates #Lemna, an aquatic plant, into a farm's water purification system.

➡️ It aims to evaluate its potential to recover water from residual effluents and, at the same time, become a source of green manure or nutrients for feed production.
