#WaterConservationWednesday: Although water restrictions are in effect, customers can still use drip irrigation, a handheld hose, or watering cans for their gardens. Make the most of your garden by:
💧Watering early in the morning or late evening to prevent daytime evaporation
🪻Using a rain barrel! Fill your barrel with rainwater and use it to water your plants and vegetables.
🌻Using soaker hoses wherever possible. They are especially effective near shrubs and trees, preventing excessive evaporation.
🌿Adding mulch to your garden! Mulch around plants and shrubs helps reduce water loss
Friendly Reminder: MANDATORY Level 2 Water Restrictions Go Into Effect Today, Wednesday, June 17!
Please remember to update your irrigation timer! ⏰ Non-essential outdoor water uses💧are banned, except for watering ornamentals and flower gardens with drip irrigation, hand-held hose, or watering cans.
Thank you for your cooperation!
