To say I am disgusted is an understatement.
What I witnessed from the far left today was absolutely vile. People pissing in bottles, shitting on the floor and then throwing it. It was filthy, degrading and completely unacceptable behaviour.
We were locked inside a pub for two and a half hours, surrounded by these individuals, because the police appeared to have absolutely no control over the situation.
What concerned me even more was speaking to a police officer who openly admitted, “We were not prepared for this.” Let that sink in. The very people responsible for maintaining public order were acknowledging that they had not anticipated or prepared for what unfolded.
Among those present were teachers, lecturers and university students. These are people who help shape and educate the next generation, yet some of the behaviour on display was beyond disgraceful.
We were also physically attacked, yet there were no arrests. No consequences. No accountability. Had the shoe been on the other foot, I think we all know exactly what the outcome would have been.
If this is what the far left stand for, then God help Great Britain. The hypocrisy is staggering. They preach tolerance and respect, yet the conduct I witnessed showed neither.
Call me whatever label you like. After what I saw today, I’d rather be called “far right” than be associated with people who think this kind of behaviour is acceptable.
Britain deserves better than this. Much better.
Dear Kier Starmer @Keir_Starmer
Today we have all witnessed rioting on the streets of Brighton by masked left wing thugs.
We have seen bricks and bottles thrown. And police attacked.
I assume we will see early morning arrests. Fast tracked court cases. And severe prison sentences handed out.
The organised violence we have all witnessed today was far worse than anything seen at Southampton. And you are still giving out Draconian sentences for that unrest.
If you ever want to lose the "Two Tier Keir" nickname. Then this is your opportunity.
@KingBobIIV I’m keen to learn who funded the ProPal activists. Certainly, under the law, by funding such activities they could be arrested for inciting violence, whether or not they were present. Presumably the police will be investigating.
To Ms Rachel Reeves, Chancellor of the Exchequer
Dear Madam Chancellor,
As a UK taxpayer, I feel it’s only fair I get a proper say in where my hard-earned cash ends up — seeing as it leaves my pocket faster than a politician running from a tough question. So here’s my official spending instruction:
✅ First priority: The Armed Forces and their kit. Let’s give them proper equipment, not whatever’s left over after every other department has helped itself. No more sending our troops out with gear older than my first car!
✅ Schools & Universities: No ideological nonsense. Teach reading, writing, arithmetic, history and how to think — not what to think. Let’s turn our classrooms into places of learning, not debating societies for every passing fashion.
✅ New National Police Force. Train them properly, give them the tools they need, and once they’re ready? You can scrap the current setup that seems better at issuing parking fines than catching criminals.
❌ ZERO money for DEI. Not a penny, not a halfpenny, not even a stray coin down the back of the Treasury sofa. If it’s labelled DEI, it’s off the menu.
And finally — send me a monthly receipt. I want it itemised, clear, and honest. No lines saying “miscellaneous” or “consultancy fees”. I want to see exactly where every pound, shilling and modern penny goes — and if there’s a mistake, I reserve the right to ask for a refund like I do when my takeaway arrives cold.
In short: stop spending my money on what feels like dismantling the country, and start spending it on making the UK great again.
Yours in hopeful amusement,
A Taxpayer Who Keeps Receipts
Six stood together.
Six fell together.
For over a century, they lay unknown.
They stand side by side once more.
Not forgotten.
Not abandoned.
Not lost to history.
After 100 years, they finally came home.
Lest we forget. 🌺🇬🇧

Remembering Private Anthony Greenwood, 3rd Battalion Parachute Regiment, killed during the Battle of Mount Longdon, Falkland Islands on the 12th June 1982 aged 22. #Falklands@falklands_utd
She was 57 years old.
White hair. No carefully managed image. No media training designed to make her more palatable. Just thirty years of accumulated knowledge and the calm, unhurried authority of a woman who had spent her life mastering her subject.
She sat on a BBC panel, answered questions about immigration and politics, cited evidence, made arguments — and then went home.
The next morning, her inbox looked like a crime scene.
Her name is Mary Beard — Cambridge professor, classicist, one of the most respected scholars of ancient Rome and Western civilisation alive. And the internet had decided that a woman speaking with quiet authority on television needed to be punished for it.
The messages were not criticism. They were not debate. They were rape threats. Death threats. Coordinated campaigns of personal destruction targeting her appearance, her age, her voice — anything that could be used to remind her that spaces like the one she had just occupied were not meant for her.
Most people would have gone quiet.
Mary Beard went further in.
She did what scholars do when they find a pattern that disturbs them: she followed it backward. Through decades. Through centuries. Through millennia. All the way back to some of the oldest texts in Western civilisation.
And she found it had always been there.
In Homer's Odyssey — one of the foundational works of Western literature, nearly three thousand years old — there is a scene that most readers pass over without registering its quiet violence. Penelope comes downstairs and asks the poet to sing a different song. Her own son, Telemachus, cuts her off. He orders her back to her room and tells her plainly: speech is the business of men.
She goes.
Mary Beard read that scene and recognized it immediately.
Not as ancient history. As a pattern.
In ancient Rome, women who dared to speak in public were not described as orators or thinkers. They were described as noise — disorderly sound, something that did not deserve to be called language or argument. Their voices were not speech. Their thoughts were not thoughts.
In the medieval world, women who claimed public authority were labeled as witches.
Elizabeth I — Queen of England, ruler of a nation — had to rhetorically reshape herself into something masculine just to be taken seriously as the leader of her own country.
The silencing of women who speak with authority was not invented by social media. It was not a modern pathology or a cultural accident. It was built deliberately, over centuries, into the very foundations of how Western civilisation defined who gets to speak, what authority sounds like, and who is allowed to take up space in public life.
Mary Beard had found something important.
In 2017, she published Women & Power: A Manifesto — short enough to read in an afternoon, substantial enough to reframe everything you thought you understood about why this keeps happening.
Her argument was precise and devastating.
The problem is not that women lack the ability to lead. The problem is that the model of leadership itself — the template for what public authority looks, sounds, and feels like — was built by men over centuries and has never been redesigned. When a woman enters public life and doesn't fit that template, she is not failing. The template was never built for her. It was built specifically to exclude her, and it has been doing exactly that, efficiently and continuously, for three thousand years.
The solution, Beard argued, is not to teach women to perform power the way men have always performed it. The solution is to dismantle and rebuild the very concept of what power is allowed to look like.
She kept teaching. She kept writing. She kept appearing on television — white-haired, unhurried, carrying her decades of authority without performing it, without packaging it for comfort, without apologizing for it.
The threats continued.
But other messages began arriving too. Letters from women and girls who had spent their entire lives feeling that every door was slightly too narrow, every table slightly too high, every room slightly reluctant to make space for them. Women who had spent years wondering what was wrong with them — why they couldn't quite fit, couldn't quite belong, couldn't quite be taken seriously no matter how much they knew or how hard they worked.
They read the book and understood, perhaps for the first time, that nothing had ever been wrong with them.
The room had been designed without them in mind.
That is not a personal failing.
That is a three-thousand-year-old architectural decision.
And one Cambridge professor with white hair and a calm voice — who refused to go quiet when the internet told her to — spent her career documenting it, naming it, and handing that knowledge to everyone who needed to hear it.
Telemachus told Penelope that speech was the business of men.
He was wrong then.
He is still wrong now.
And Mary Beard has three thousand years of evidence to prove it.

@Jenny_1884 Are you sure that the British PM’s duty is to the UK? The more I watch @UKLabour actions towards us the more I believe his duty lies with anywhere else.
@lancelachlan In fact, the taxpayer is funding every employer whose full time staff need to claim Universal Credit. How much of Tesco’s £23 billion net profit did the taxpayer fund? Like Fagin grabbing the gold with both hands - astronomical food prices and taxpayer funded staff!
🇬🇧 When you say the word tarmac... You have just said a Scotsman's name.🏴
Tar, laid over macadam. The macadam is the man.
John Loudon McAdam was born in Ayr in 1756. The Britain he grew up in moved at the speed of mud.
He was not an engineer and never trained as one. He was a merchant who could not stop studying roads, and he travelled Britain at his own expense to learn why they failed.
His answer was almost insultingly simple.
No grand foundations. Just small broken stones on a raised, drained bed, and let the traffic itself pack the surface tight. Cheap enough for any turnpike trust in the country.
🏛️ You were told great roads take an empire. Rome needed legions. McAdam needed broken stone and drainage.
In 1816, nearly 60, he got his chance at Bristol and remade the roads. The carts stopped sinking.
In 1823 Parliament examined his system and adopted it.
The work had cost him his own fortune. Parliament moved to repay him 5,000 pounds sterling, and rivals cut it to 2,000. He kept working anyway, and turned down a knighthood.
His method spread across Europe, then America. In 1902 a Welsh surveyor bound macadam with tar. Tarmac. 2 centuries on, the world walks and drives on his name.
An Ayrshire merchant paid his own way to fix everyone's road.
Britain moves because people like him refused to wait for permission.
Are you one of them? 👇

@ZaffranRiver Rights have not been curtailed. You can still protest peacefully provided that you are not protesting under the banner of a proscribed group. You may also plan, fund and execute an attack. However in that instance you will be arrested, tried and imprisoned. You choose.
I have never seen anything like the @RestoreBritain campaigning event this morning. Over a thousand people turned up to knock on doors and hand out leaflets. I am in shock at the numbers, the energy and the passion. Something special is happening.
@timspencer1@paul_greet@CalMcN1 No, the judge APPLIES THE LAW. Go back to the start and re-read Calum’s very erudite explanation. It really isn’t rocket science.
In short — the Judge did not use “sleight of hand” or “sentence the Defendants for offences they werent found guilty of”; the Judge simply applied the law created by Parliament.
@jmcevoy_2@daniaakkad Did the Filton 4 act and speak under the banner of Palestine Action? If so, by virtue of the Terrorism Act 2000 it is a criminal offence to belong to, support, or arrange meetings for such proscribed groups. Ipso facto terrorist. Next time get better legal advice before you act.
LA PETITE REINE D’ÉCOSSE VIENT DE DÉTRUIRE LE SYSTÈME WOKE À COUPS DE HACHE ! ⚔️🔥
LOLA ET RUBY DISCULPÉES, LE MIGRANT BULGARE ET SA SŒUR JUGÉS COUPABLES ! 💥
POLICE, MÉDIAS DE GAUCHE, POLITICIENS : VOUS AVEZ MENTI COMME DES PORCS ET VOUS VENEZ DE VOUS PRENDRE UNE CLAQUE ! 😈🔥
BRAVEHEART VERSION 2026, C’EST ELLE.
On l’appelle déjà la Petite Reine d’Écosse. 👑⚔️
« Circulez, il n’y a rien à voir. »
Eh bien non. 😈
LE PROCÈS EST TERMINÉ.
ILIA BELLOV ET SA SŒUR SONT COUPABLES.
LOLA ET RUBY SONT BLANCHES COMME NEIGE.
ON L’APPELLE BRAVEHEART.
ON L’APPELLE LA PETITE REINE D’ÉCOSSE. 👑⚔️
