Governor Radda Visits Ex-Minister Dangiwa Over Brother’s Demise
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Sunday paid a condolence visit to the former Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arch. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, at his residence in Abuja, over the passing of his brother, Alhaji Dikko Abdullahi.
The Governor was accompanied by his Deputy, Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe. Governor Radda described the late Alhaji Dikko Abdullahi as a humble and kind man whose loss is felt by the family and the wider community. He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannatul Firdaus and to give the Dangiwa family the strength to bear the loss.
Ongoing dualization project from CPS to Kofar Kaura Underpass by the administration of @dikko_radda in Katsina Local Government.
The dualization spans 2.4 kilometers, with 4 lanes and a 1-meter-wide central median. It will significantly contribute to the infrastructure development in the capital city.

Governor Radda Invests in Global Best Practices for Effective Governance and Education Reform
* Sends High-Powered Delegation to University of Greenwich, United Kingdom
The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to building a competent, innovative, and result-oriented public service that will drive sustainable development in the state.
This follows the successful participation of a high-level delegation of senior government officials in a specialised training programme on Participatory Leadership at the Institute of Lifecourse Development, University of Greenwich, United Kingdom.
The training took place from 14th to 18th June 2026 under the Transforming Education System at State Level (TESS) – BESDA Additional Financing Programme. It is part of the State Government’s capacity-building initiative to strengthen governance and improve service delivery.
Governor Radda described the programme as a strategic investment in human capital development, stressing the importance of continuous training for effective governance.
"This administration remains committed to equipping our officials with the knowledge and skills required to deliver efficient and impactful governance. Sustainable development depends on a well-trained and empowered workforce," the Governor said.
The delegation included the Accountant General, Malam Nura Tela; Chairman, House Committee on Education, Hon. Mustapha Rabe Musa Mai’adua; and the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Hon Yusuf Sulaiman Jibiya.
Others were the SUBEB Executive Chairman, Dr. Kabir Magaji; Head of PFMU, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Muhammad; Special Adviser on School Feeding, Hajiya Aishah Barda; Executive Secretary, Development Management Board, Mallam Mustapha Shehu; and TESS Project Coordinator, Hajiya Binta Abdulmumin.
The training focused on inclusive leadership, accountability, collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based decision-making in public sector management.
Governor Radda further noted that exposure to global best practices remains key to strengthening institutions and accelerating development.
"We will continue to expose our officials to global best practices and innovative leadership models to improve institutional performance and service delivery," he added.

Governor Radda Pays Unscheduled Visit to Matazu Town and Neighbouring Communities
* Commends Strong Military Presence Across Communities
The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, yesterday evening conducted an unscheduled low-profile visit to Matazu town and surrounding communities in Matazu Local Government Area to assess the prevailing security situation and ongoing military operations.
The visit followed a security briefing and operational engagement with the Theatre Commander, Major General W. B. Idris, as well as the implementation of the Presidential directive aimed at strengthening security presence in vulnerable communities across Katsina State.
During the tour, the Governor first visited Matazu town before proceeding to Sayaya, and later to Mazoji, Fafawa, Nasarawan Kalgo, and Tashar Icce communities, where he observed residents peacefully engaging in their lawful daily activities—an indication of improved stability in the affected areas.
He later moved through Sayaya and adjoining communities, where he noted significant deployment of military personnel and other security formations strategically positioned along key routes and settlements.
The Governor also passed through the Mazoji–Dutsinma axis before returning to Katsina, observing continuous patrols and coordinated security operations by relevant security agencies along the corridor.
Governor Radda expressed satisfaction with the level of coordination and visibility of security personnel during the tour, noting that residents were freely going about their lawful activities without disruption.
He commended the efforts of security agencies for sustained patrols and proactive deployment, describing the improvement as a positive step toward restoring lasting peace and stability across Katsina State.
