Meanwhile our government (in no particular order):

1. Wages billions in undeclared offensive wars of choice via semantic arguments by grown men pretending not to know what basic three-letter words mean

2. Launches missiles into sovereign nations terrorizing citizens around the world without a declaration of war

3. Overthrows or kidnaps democratically elected leaders of other countries and installs its own puppet dictators

4. Blockades oil to foreign nations, causing nationwide blackouts that lead to mass suffering and death, then just blithely announces plans to take the whole country over

5. Side steps the First Amendment by partnering with corporations to enforce censorship online while restricting speech to designated "free speech zones" in physical reality

6. Harasses and arrests people for filming law enforcement despite multiple federal courts upholding the First Amendment right to do so

7. Increasingly encroaches upon the Second Amendment

8. By "encroaches," try got caught running guns to foreign drug cartels as a means to justify stricter gun laws at home

9. Uses emergency pretexts to send swarms of poorly trained armed officers to break down people's doors as if the Fourth Amendment does not exist by allowing its agents to write their own "administrative warrants" which are not signed by judges, thus ignoring the separation of powers

10. Uses emergency pretexts to ignore Habeas Corpus and due process whenever it wants

11. Examines citizen bank records without a traditional search warrant and requires financial institutions to report transactions of $10,000 or more to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network

12. Grants itself the ability to warrantlessly spy on everyone

13. Has a president that just casually dips into the treasury to give himself billions for a pay-to-play slush fund he created and solely controls with no congressional oversight, and the majority of the board of said fund happens to be comprised of leaders cited for human rights violations and/or were accused of war crimes

14. Allows a president to sign endless Executive Orders that basically function as Royal Proclamations like he's a king

15. Allows a president to use an autopen to run his office with zero accountability, including signing Executive Orders and even granting his own family members a decade+ long unconditional preemptive pardon

16. Allows a president to run "pay-for-play" pardon schemes out of the White House where wealthy donors found guilty of millions in fraud committed against some of our most vulnerable citizens receive a "get out of jail free card" in exchange for political campaign contributions

17. Holds congressional hearings "for show" where pretty much nothing is ever done about anything our congresspeople discover in them

18. Allows our congresspeople to get away with obvious insider trading, maybe paying a fine or something but usually just nothing

19. Allows our congresspeople to use taxpayer funds to pay off sexual misconduct scandals, then votes against publicly releasing the records of said scandals

20. Controls the use of real money like gold and silver as currency while forcing everyone to use ever-inflated interest-based worthless paper from a private shareholder-owned entity that is "federal" in name only

21. Requires citizens to be radiated and/or groped to second or third base by government agents before they are allowed to fly on a plane

22. Puts citizens on a "no-fly list" without explanation or due process

23. Can prevent citizens from traveling internationally if they are delinquent on taxes

24. Charges hundreds of dollars in "Administrative Processing Fees" to rescind citizenship

25. Forces people to pay into a Social Security scheme it created, then voted to double tax, which it does not pay out to family members when a payor dies early, and which it now says will run out in the coming years despite how much money people have spent years being forced to pay in

26. Forces citizens to purchase insurance products on threat of penalties and revoking the ability to travel

27. Forces citizens to pay taxes on property they already supposedly own, and if the taxes rise to a point the owner can no longer afford to pay them, confiscates their "owned" property

28. Restricts what plants citizens are allowed to ingest in the privacy of their own homes

29. Restricts citizen ability to sell their own meat they raised and butchered to their neighbors

30. Restricts citizen ability to collect rainwater

31. Allows known carcinogens to be sprayed all over our food supply, and even worse, has issued orders giving liability protections to the companies that make those toxic substances

32. Attempts to restrict citizen ability to go "off-grid"

33. Hides any action it wants by simply declaring "national security"

34. Classifies any patent it wants also by simply declaring "national security," essentially giving itself the capability to hold everyone in a technology bubble

35. Keeps a standing army funded by a budget the size of the next 9 or 10 highest-spending countries combined and that was before it was announced the president wants next year's budget to be $1.5 TRILLION DOLLARS despite our Pentagon never passing a single audit

36. Has a president and dozens of congressmembers whose family members personally financially benefit from government contracts and legislative decisions

37. Allows its president and congress to receive millions in campaign contributions from foreign governments it then works in the interests of above and over the interests of the American people

38. Sends money it does not even have to some 177 other countries annually in the form of unaccountable "aid" while our country here at home literally falls apart

39. Spends trillions more than it collects in revenue on pretty much whatever it wants without anything even close to resembling accountability (the Government Accountability Office has issued a "disclaimer of opinion" for 29 consecutive years on treasury statements now, or every year since the law took effect requiring them)

40. Has a long and documented history of unethical medical and scientific experimentation on its own citizens with little if any accountability for any of it

41. Has a "Department of Justice" that essentially investigates itself

42. Runs "black sites" where people are disappeared and tortured without charge or trial

43. Funds genocides in other parts of the world to the tune of billions

44. Basically ignores the Constitution it only exists because of, treating the nation's founding document worse than a piece of one-ply toilet paper pretty much whenever it feels like it

45. Fails to protect the inherent rights of individual citizens from itself and uses lawfare against dissidents and whistleblowers

But sure... keep voting.

The real reason the US is invading Venezuela goes back to a deal Henry Kissinger made with Saudi Arabia in 1974.

And I'm going to explain why this is actually about the SURVIVAL of the US dollar itself.

Not drugs. Not terrorism. Not "democracy."

This is about the petrodollar system that has kept America the dominant economic power for 50 years.

And Venezuela just threatened to end it.

Here's what really just happened:

Venezuela has 303 billion barrels of proven oil reserves.

The largest on Earth.

More than Saudi Arabia.

20% of the entire world's oil.

But here's the part that matters:

Venezuela was actively selling that oil in Chinese yuan. Not dollars.

In 2018, Venezuela announced it would "free itself from the dollar."

They started accepting yuan, euros, rubles, anything BUT dollars for oil.

They were petitioning to join BRICS.

They were building direct payment channels with China that bypass SWIFT entirely.

And they were sitting on enough oil to fund de-dollarization for decades.

Why does this matter?

Because the entire American financial system is built on one thing:

The petrodollar.

In 1974, Henry Kissinger made a deal with Saudi Arabia:

All oil sold globally must be priced in US dollars.

In exchange, America provides military protection.

This single agreement created artificial demand for dollars worldwide.

Every country on Earth needs dollars to buy oil.

This lets America print unlimited money while other countries work for it.

It funds the military. The welfare state. The deficit spending.

The petrodollar is more important to US hegemony than aircraft carriers.

And there's a pattern of what happens to leaders who challenge it:

2000: Saddam Hussein announces Iraq will sell oil in euros instead of dollars.

2003: Invaded. Regime change. Iraq's oil immediately switched back to dollars. Saddam lynched.

The WMDs were never found because they never existed.

2009: Gaddafi proposes a gold-backed African currency called the "gold dinar" for oil trade.

Hillary Clinton's own leaked emails confirm this was the PRIMARY reason for intervention.

Email quote: "This gold was intended to establish a pan-African currency based on the Libyan golden Dinar."

2011: NATO bombs Libya. Gaddafi sodomized and murdered. Libya now has open slave markets.

"We came, we saw, he died!" Clinton laughed on camera.

The gold dinar died with him.

And now Maduro.

With FIVE TIMES more oil than Saddam and Gaddafi combined.

Actively selling in yuan.

Building payment systems outside dollar control.

Petitioning to join BRICS.

Partnered with China, Russia, and Iran.

The three countries leading global de-dollarization.

This isn't coincidence.

Challenge the petrodollar. Get regime changed.

Every. Single. Time.

Stephen Miller (US homeland security advisor) literally said it out loud two weeks ago:

"American sweat, ingenuity and toil created the oil industry in Venezuela. Its tyrannical expropriation was the largest recorded theft of American wealth and property."

He's not hiding it.

They're claiming Venezuelan oil BELONGS to America because US companies developed it 100 years ago.

By this logic, every nationalized resource in history was "theft."

But here's the DEEPER problem:

The petrodollar is already dying.

Russia sells oil in rubles and yuan since Ukraine.

Saudi Arabia is openly discussing yuan settlements.

Iran has been trading in non-dollar currencies for years.

China built CIPS, their own alternative to SWIFT with 4,800 banks in 185 countries.

BRICS is actively building payment systems that bypass the dollar entirely.

The mBridge project lets central banks settle trades instantly in local currencies.

Venezuela joining BRICS with 303 billion barrels of oil would accelerate this exponentially.

That's what this invasion is really about.

Not stopping drugs. Venezuela accounts for less than 1% of US cocaine.

Not terrorism. There's zero evidence Maduro runs a "terror organization."

Not democracy. The US supports Saudi Arabia, which has zero elections.

This is about maintaining a 50-year-old agreement that lets America print money while the world works for it.

And the consequences are terrifying:

Russia, China, and Iran are already denouncing this as "armed aggression."

China is Venezuela's biggest oil customer. They're losing billions.

BRICS nations are watching a country get invaded for trading outside the dollar.

Every nation considering de-dollarization just got the message:

Challenge the dollar and we will bomb you.

But here's the problem...

That message might accelerate de-dollarization, not stop it.

Because now every country in the Global South knows what happens if you threaten dollar hegemony.

And they're realizing the only protection is to move FASTER.

The timing is insane too:

January 3rd, 2026. Venezuela invaded. Maduro captured.

January 3rd, 1990. Panama invaded. Noriega captured.

36 years apart. Almost to the day.

Same playbook. Same "drug trafficking" excuse.

Same real reason: control of strategic resources and trade routes.

History doesn't repeat. But it rhymes.

What happens next:

Trump's press conference at Mar-a-Lago sets the narrative.

US oil companies are already lined up. Politico reported they've been approached about "returning to Venezuela."

The opposition will be installed. Oil will flow in dollars again.

Venezuela becomes another Iraq. Another Libya.

But here's what nobody's asking:

What happens when you can no longer bomb your way to dollar dominance?

When China has enough economic leverage to retaliate?

When BRICS controls 40% of global GDP and says "no more dollars"?

When the world realizes the petrodollar is maintained by violence?

America just showed its hand.

The question is whether the rest of the world folds or calls the bluff.

Because this invasion is an admission that the dollar can no longer compete on its own merits.

When you have to bomb countries to keep them using your currency, the currency is already dying.

Venezuela isn't the beginning.

It's the desperate end.
