@actualllyandrew He isn't a nepo baby, but either way you can judge by your own merits and research, not based on what people are suggesting. Even with the "if" I think you're feeding more into the wrong side of the discourse.
@tarnationface@ComardeThe97931@penishorts You say this as if 1) Telltale Games is the biggest studios in the game industry (it isn't even close) 2) he's the ceo of Telltale Games (he isn't).
If he's a nepo baby, then I assure you 90% of society are nepo baby, unless you don't have any aspirations in life.
I see people calling Kane a nepo baby when this is literally nothing like a nepo baby it's literally just a father trying to help his child and asking if anybody can help Kane with his career path that is not a nepo baby
Kane learned his dad's craftsmanship, as all men should do if given the chance, and showcased his skills on his own by publishing his works on the free internet, which led him to gain his own audience and YEARS later get a chance to direct a movie.
That's NOT nepotism btw.
Today I found out Kane Pixelsโ dad was a VFX artist at Telltale Games and he posted on LinkedIn back in 2021 about his son wanting to be a film director.
What amuses me about Critical Drinkerโs raging hateboner for Supergirl is his arguing that nobody wants to watch an ignorant, rude, unfunny, drunk with a monotone delivery. And I think that lack of self awareness is sublime.
'Backrooms' director Kane Parsons says his dream is to make a film adaptation of 'Portal'
He's looking into if it's possible with 'a lot of caution and a lot of curiosity'

If Uncharted was announced for the first time ever today, and people found out Amy Hinnig was making it, there would be an uproar of people calling the game woke and slop ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
@hernandy_s One issue at a time and AI is a bigger issue than people who don't like or confuse VFX/animated stuff. First let's speak against AI, then we'll discuss VFX.
Antony Starr speaks out against AI
"'[AI] is coming no matter what' ... bla bla. Recent movies have proven that people want human stories. Not big ridiculous VFX-driven nonsense"
"Ever tried to go to an Al movie premiere? The cast are horrible and they hate their human fans"
The more I watch Iain Glen as Ser Jorah (on GOT) the more I understand why he was chosen as Bruce on Titans. He'd be a good old-man Bruce (akin to Kingdom Come).
