They started cooking milk because the poor hygiene in cities spread typhus through the milk. Instead of fixing the problem, they cooked out the nutrients along with the disease. Small organic farms today have way better practices than the 1950s AS WELL AS factory farms today.
If you have a reaction to it, it's because your body is conditioned to the crap in supermarkets. It's like never eating vegetables & starting with a salad. You can't. You have to start small and work your way up to a serving.

Then 1/2 cup/day for a week.
