Crash bandicoot is close, but just with a more linear level design.

Ratchet and clank doesn’t exactly have a “hub world” connecting you to the different zones, but def scratches the same itch with different collectibles and objectives in each area.

I never played A Hat in Time, but from what I’ve seen of it, that might be close by more modern standards.
