Gm guys so something interesting I have been thinking about....
Okay, so let me tell you something wild about prediction markets like Polymarket and why Trump policies might have made things… sketchy.
You know Polymarket, right?
Those crypto markets where people literally bet on what will happen in the real world? Elections, wars, court rulings basically, anything you can imagine.
And here’s the thing, Polymarket has markets like,
“Will Trump impose a new tariff by X date?”
Someone with early knowledge could make a bet that looks totally insane to the public… and then boom Trump announces exactly what they already knew. Cha-ching.
It’s not illegal… technically. Polymarket doesn’t have insider trading rules. You can use any info you can get your hands on legally, the platform just sees a trade.
But ethically? Big question mark.
It’s not just tariffs either. There were markets on Iran, Venezuela, even potential military strikes.
And just like with Trump policy bets, some wallets consistently show up and make perfect calls right before news breaks.
Example;
Three new Polymarket wallets bet on Maduro’s ouster hours before Trump said US forces had him in custody netting $630k+. One (0x31a5) put $34k at 6% odds; payout soared 1,242%.
New wallets, Venezuela-only bets sparking insider-trading suspicions. Luck or a leak?
So the takeaway is this: these markets are supposed to aggregate public opinion, right?
But what happens when people with secret information are the ones making the bets? Suddenly, the market isn’t predicting the future it’s being used to profit from it.
And that’s why regulators are starting to sweat. Because if someone in the government, or close to policy-making, starts quietly using Polymarket to cash in on insider knowledge… it’s a problem. A big one.
Crazy, right? And it all starts to make you wonder… how many of those perfect Trump policy bets were luck… and how many weren’t?

What would/should we do in a situation where politicians will break the law without a bit of contriteness? Do we sit back and watch or if we can't beat them, we joi them?
@hotep07 @MOVEMENTOFTHEP1 I think it's time Nigerian youths and masses wake up to fight and end this era and cycle of oligarchy. Democracy is a the direct opposite of it's meaning; nepotism, class struggle and tribalism are the basis for appointment in the country today. Look at you, where do you stand?
The oppressors being masters of science, in a bid to create poverty work with foreign government to sell off our job-producing resources to foreign countries while enriching themselves...the only thing they SELL to you is PROPAGANDA! @MOVEMENTOFTHEP1#liberationgeneration#VDM
There are job opportunities out there, but it's not for your class.
You have rights, but your class can't express it.
You have the skills, but the platform doesn't belong to your class.
Wake up and join the movement!

@revi_ofthehills@Joshua4freedom The government will try to make you believe that square pegs can fit in round holes...😂😂
I laugh at the ignorance of most Nigerians who cry everyday on radio stations and social media but are afraid to be architects of change. Dey play my fans! 😂
