A good way to understand if we're falling into the latter is to critically look at our intentions- are we looking for the best way to submit to Allah? or trying to find a "loophole" to do what we want to do and have our actions be justified.
A key principle in Islam is to apply our understanding intellect to sacred texts - not the other way round. There's a lot of random Islamic texts, taken out of context, to cater to nafs going around.
"They gave us water in front of the camera, and after filming was over, they took our luggage, destroyed it, and we ran away while soldiers shoot under our feet."
Survivor testimony of this event.
BREAKING:
CONFIRMED!
The Israelis admit that they are responsible for the massacre of their citizens at the October 7th concert, not Hamas
An Israeli Apache helicopter is shooting at civilians and civilian vehicles, everywhere.
This explains why there were so many burned and destroyed vehicles, despite the fact that Hamas fighters mostly only had light weapons.
Despite that, the Israelis justify themselves with the same stupidity as from Gaza, that Hamas was hiding among the civilians.
"The pilots realized that there was tremendous difficulty in distinguishing within the occupied outposts and settlements who was a terrorist and who was a soldier or civilian... The rate of fire against the thousands of terrorists was tremendous at first, and only at a certain point did the pilots begin to slow down the attacks and carefully select the targets." - the article says.

"The message from the world is this: if you are Palestinian and you get killed, it doesn’t matter, because you have no value. Your value is determined by whether your name is Fatima or Michelle."

I'm paralysed by the sheer onslaught of images coming out of Gaza. I don't even know what to keep sharing on Social media, there's so much proof of genocide and the wider world -like so many times other moments in history- watches on.
Idk who needs to hear this but settlers are not “innocent civilians” they chose to live there and are just as guilty as the violent acts on Palestinians as the government
