HSE Stop Smoking Advisors Symposium in Dublin yesterday with our Tobacco Free Ireland Team and international colleagues. Topics included #cannabis and novel HHC #vaping products, #smoking and vaping during #pregnancy, developments in the @HSEQuitTeam#campaign, #smokefree prisons and a case study in smoke free implementation from the National Forensic Mental Health Service. Thanks to all for their input and participation.
A new training course has been developed by the HSE Health & Wellbeing Tobacco Free Ireland Programme. This online training course, 'Stop Smoking Medicines & How to Use Them', is available on https://t.co/1QmAV2om5k. It aims to help healthcare professionals build the knowledge, skill and confidence to recommend and advise on stop smoking medicines. You can find it by searching for ‘Stop Smoking’, and it takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.

@roinnslainte Delighted to see Minister Donnelly announcing today that our government has approved legislation to increase the minimum legal age of sale of tobacco products to 21. A key step in achieving a tobacco free Ireland;thereby reducing/delaying/preventing initiation of tobacco use.
