The last ten days of Ramadan are considered the most spiritually significant phase of the month, serving as a time for intensive worship, repentance, and seeking forgiveness.

We are encouraged to increase our efforts in seeking forgiveness (istighfar) to cleanse our sins.

Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) used to strive significantly harder in worship during the last ten days of Ramadan than at any other time.

This is an encouragement for us to increase our dedication to prayers, dhikr (remembrance), and Quran recitation, especially during the odd nights.

The recommended dua to recite on Laylatul Qadr, as taught by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to Aisha (RA), is: 

"Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul 'afwa fa'fu 'anni" 

(O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning, You love to pardon, so pardon me).

Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Decree or Power) is considered the most sacred night occurring within the last ten nights of Ramadan.

It is better than a thousand months (≈83 years). Sincere worship (prayer, Dhikr) during this night leads to the forgiveness of previous sins.

Itikaf (spiritual seclusion in a mosque) is a highly recommended (Sunnah) act of worship, particularly during the last ten days of Ramadan

It is aimed at seeking Laylatul Qadr and brings immense spiritual rewards, with the Prophet (ﷺ) noting it acts as a barrier from Hell-fire

The Witr prayer is a highly recommended prayer, often described as a duty upon every Muslim, serving as the closing prayer for the night.

Don't let fatigue overcome you; the fleeting exhaustion of standing in prayer is nothing compared to the permanent reward of forgiveness.

Feeding the hungry, particularly by providing iftar for fasting people, is a highly encouraged, virtuous act in Ramadan, offering rewards equivalent to the fasting person without reducing their reward.

This dua was recited by Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) and his son Ismail (Ishmael) after completing the challenging task of raising the foundations of the Ka'bah.
