I am repeatedly calling helpline to know delivery status so we stay home. I am asked to hold & wait my turn and then the line gets disconnected. What kind of service is this?
I want to share what I consider as an illustrative incident for today's Gen.
Last Friday when I was about to disembark from the flight in Chennai from Delhi a passenger from the other side of isle introduced himself as Dr Venkat Ramakrishnan and as a follower of my comments and writings.
When I asked about him he said he was a plastic surgeon in UK for 30 years and is back in Chennai to look after his nonagenarian parents. With that our conversation ended as we disembarked
But what he said -- he came back to look after his aged parents -- made me reach out to him. Yesterday I could trace him with the scrappy details I had got and spoke to him today. He practices as a plastic surgeon in Chennai and is a consultant in Apollo. His father Dr Venkatrasami was a famous plastic surgeon who established a surgery set up in Stanley Hospital in Chennai which is near industrial area where workers lose limbs in accidents calling for surgeries. A block in Stanley is named after Dr Venkatrasami.
Dr Venkat Ramakrishnan himself had a roaring pratice in UK. But the call of his duty to his aged parents made him give up that to come back to India two years back
I thought it is my duty as a journalist to inform the public about illustrative sons like him who value their moral relational obligations more than their personal career
It is those who like Dr Venkat Ramakrishnan sustain intergenerational dharmic responsibilities that keeps our relation based society functional. We are not and can never be a contract based society. According to SBI economic research 84% of parents live with their children in India. This culturally inherited social and emotional security is irreplaceable by state law or courts in our country.
I feel proud of sons like Dr Venkat Ramakrishnan who stand by the basic dharma of Matru Devo Bhava Pitru Devo Bhava
My salutes him and urge the young Indians to inbibe this irreplaceable cultural virtue exemplified by Dr Venkat Ramakrishnan
I personally think there should be no political parties in Universities. Let students study, for which they have joined the college. If they feel they want to follow a career in politics, drop out, join a political party and do your studies online/open university.

Consignment No. 58941830372 containing critical medicines picked up from Mumbai by Blue Dart showing ‘out for delivery’ since long. It reached Delhi 7:30 in the morning. Why is it taking so much time within the city? The medicines are very critical.
Why Republic of India never fails ?
One mother got up & kills crores & crores worth of FCRA funded Anti National propaganda

@AmazonHelp Understood. These are ways of forcing clients’ money to your Pay Wallet so you can enjoy the float. Don’t deliver, cancel order and the amount that was paid via card lands in Amazon Wallet. Only an American system can be so wise. Other QC outlets are still struggling. Bravo!
@AmazonHelp@amazonIN Order placed today by my wife using addon Axis Bank card never got delivered. I am away from Delhi residence. She tried her best to contact Amazon but to no avail. Rs. 2079 has been debited to my Axis Bank main account. Screenshot of the order is attached.
@AmazonHelp I have checked my wife’s Amazon account. We notice Amazon Now has quietly credited the amount in her Amazon Pay wallet. It should have come to the original source of payment. Can this please be transferred to her card account? We are not keen on big orders from Amazon.
The government provides these rich farmers with subsidies of ₹2,000 per bag on urea and ₹2,500 per bag on DAP. Farmers’ income is completely tax-free.
In return, they supply us with grains heavily contaminated with toxic pesticides, all in the name of “Annadata.” People who eat this food are developing cancer. Owning 100 to 300 acres of land, these individuals drive around in BMWs, Audis, and Thars.
Because of them, genuine small landholding farmers are constantly struggling. Whenever any scheme or benefit is about to reach the small farmers, these big players grab it first. They stockpile fertilisers well in advance, forcing small farmers to buy them at black-market rates.
Now they are coming to Delhi to protest against the USA-India FTA, which is not even finalised yet.
@AmazonHelp Why don’t you understand? I cannot sign into my wife’s account. I am away from Delhi. The password etc. is written in a dairy. Will be in Delhi Wed late evening. This is extreme harassment. When orders don’t get delivered you know it and refund immediately. This is disgusting.
@AmazonHelp@amazonIN Not able to do so now as I am not in Delhi. It’s asking for account and password details. Will have to check it when I am back in Delhi. It was ordered by my wife Ms. Chandra Chatterjee. Why is there so much to do? You can see that the order was never delivered. Just refund.
Wrong side driving, jumping red lights by two wheelers, riding on footpaths is the norm in Delhi. This started big time post Covid. It happens in front of traffic police personnel. You will not find this in any other Indian city. @dtptraffic
If this had happened in 🇨🇳 China or 🇯🇵 Japan, the internet would have praised it endlessly with “These countries are living in 2050”. But this is India 🇮🇳.
A car caught fire inside the Dwarka Expressway tunnel near Delhi Airport, filling the passage with thick smoke as vehicles stopped around it.
Moments later the tunnel’s advanced automated sprinkler system activated, releasing powerful jets of water mist from the ceiling that quickly doused the flames. No injuries were reported and traffic resumed shortly after.
Hindus toppled a BJP Govt in Delhi over onion prices in 1998 - This led to a CONg govt in Delhi for 15 years between 1998-2013 & then an AAP Govt from 2013-2025
Who suffered? Hindus
But we didn't learn from this
Hindus toppled BJP at centre in 2004 and ushered in Sonia Gandhi's CONg to unleash the darkest decade for Bharat & Hindus
But we still didn't learn from this and we allowed CONg to claw back in MP, CG, Rajasthan first followed by Karnataka & HP. Who suffered? - Hindus & the state !
Please remember : THE WORST BJP GOVT WILL STILL BE BETTER THAN THE BEST CONG GOVT
