Isn't it true tht halal meat is not permitted in Sikhism as per Sikhs rehat maryada bcz it is a ritualistic slaughtering?
Jhatka meat is permitted bcz it instantly kills the animal.

or one can have both jhatka/halal if they dont kill animal with rituals?

In earlier times, when the barat used to go to the bride's place, manytimes they were attacked and looted along the route. So it was a risky event. Breastfeeding the groom is a part of that context.

Some mother, instead of breastfeeding, bring their son's face near their breast. They don't uncover their breasts by considering that the rituals have been completed symbolically.

@BhanuNand In a democracy, stories r often reshaped for fun/critique. Ramayana itself has many versions, so re-imagining characters is part of tht tradition. What some call ‘corruption’ of scripture, I see it as democratisation of texts &opening them to new meanings &playful adaptations.

So, political parties that emphasise the past too much would not be able to drive the nation forward.

@Aunindyo2023 I just argued against you. I explained that Pakistani elite was nowhere near or had liking for the formation of secular or near to secular state.
Only a few are takers of argument that Jinnah or Pakistani elite was interested in some kind of secular state with 2-3 incidents.
