I want to wish Ontario’s Jewish community a meaningful Rosh Hashanah. May this New Year bring you and your loved ones health, happiness and prosperity. Shana Tova!
We will always have the backs of our first responders who protect Ontario.
From investing more than $50M to support municipal fire services to $32.5M for specialized mental health supports, we’re ensuring our first responders have the resources they need.
This morning, we commemorated the victims and first responders whose lives were lost in the terrorist attacks against the United States that took place on September 11, 2001. Those victims included 24 Canadians, a reminder of the close ties between our two countries.
Ontario was proud to stand with our American friends and neighbours that day, with volunteers and first responders heading south of the border to help. We will never back down from standing with our allies in defence of our shared values.
In the face of more unjustified U.S. tariffs, Ontario is standing up for workers & businesses. Our $30 billion tariff relief plan is giving businesses the tools they need to protect jobs, diversify exports and build the most competitive economy in the G7.

Parents deserve a clear way to raise concerns about their child's education and get it addressed.
We're launching Student and Family Support Offices at all 72 school boards, including @PeelSchools & @Pdsb@DPCDSBSchools, to help families get the support they need.
This Transportation Tuesday, we’re spotlighting the record investments our government is making to improve transit service in rural areas.
By doubling funding for the Ontario Transit Investment Fund, we’re helping more people in rural areas get to work and access services like health care and education.
As students return to the classroom today, Ontario is adding nearly 20,000 student and child-care spaces in 35 new and expanded schools across Ontario.
We’re investing a record $30 billion to build and upgrade schools so students have the space they need to learn and succeed.
We’re putting more money than ever into schools & classrooms to help students succeed.

Ontario workers built this province, and we’ll always have their backs. This Labour Day, we’re investing in training, upskilling and rapid supports for tariff-impacted workers, helping people access good-paying careers and building a stronger #Ontario workforce.
Best of success to all the students in @PeelSchools & @DPCDSBSchools on the 1st day of year 2026-2027. Thank you to parents, teachers, and school staff for your passion to support our leaders of today and tomorrow. 🙏🤲
Happy Labour Day!
Today, we celebrate the millions of hardworking men and women who get up every day to support their families, build their communities and protect Ontario. No matter what comes our way, we’ll always have their backs.
Back to school, back to building #Ontario’s future. Record education funding, 35 new and expanded schools, $41.5M for apprenticeships and $6.4B more for postsecondary are preparing students for rewarding, good-paying careers.
We’re cutting red tape to make #Ontario the most competitive place in the G7 to invest, build and create good-paying jobs. Since 2018, we’ve removed 14,000+ regulatory requirements, saving people and businesses $1.3B and 1.8M hours every year.
We’re investing in our police and frontline personnel so they have the resources they need to fight crime and protect Ontario communities. That includes an investment of $191 million to purchase seven new helicopters that will help local police crack down on auto theft and keep one step ahead of criminals. Last month, I had the chance to see the first of these helicopters at the Peel Regional Police hangar.
A safer Ontario means fixing our bail system and keeping dangerous criminals off our streets and behind bars.
That’s why we’re fighting for tougher bail laws and investing over $3 billion to expand correctional capacity and reopen jails closed by the previous Liberal government.
In the face of U.S. tariffs, our govt is standing up for impacted communities.
Through our comprehensive $30B tariff relief & support plan, we’re ensuring that workers/businesses can remain resilient, while delivering on our plan to build the most competitive economy in the G7
I’m in Mississauga this morning with an important local update on our plan to lower housing costs and make life more affordable for families.

Ontario is leading North America in job creation.
Since 2018, we’ve created over 1 million jobs, fuelled by more than $235 billion in new investment and a $12 billion reduction in the cost of doing business in the province. That’s how we’re protecting Ontario.
