@keyakahe It is an older clip from the 2014 Kiss of Love protest. In that event, Jadavpur University students publicly kissed and hugged as a form of protest against moral policing. This was part of a broader “Kiss of Love” movement that started in Kerala and had a chapter in Kolkata.👍

[Deepak @DeepakDiscuss]

@bong_politics It is not just about narrow areas, Govt hasn't learned its lessons from KUMBH MELA 2025.
And whatever you points you have mentioned it is basics nothing new for the organisers and Govt.

@DebNil97 @BengalMafia @Bongo_bahini 😅

[IndiaToday @IndiaToday]

A case has been registered against BJP Mandal President Kamal Chauhan for pushing and misbehaving with a 15-year-old girl at a Garba venue in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore.

@SabirAl72017365 Everyone knows BJP has no relation with books and education.
So it was expected.

[Deepak @DeepakDiscuss]

@Banglar_Tintin @SuvenduWB Yes, because Bengalis are apparently witnessing Durga Puja and crowds for the first time! 🙄 The CM must investigate the negligence behind this tragedy and ensure accountability. Tintin, have some spine and ask the right questions instead of avoiding accountability.

[Deepak @DeepakDiscuss]

@ViratHindu1992 BJP’s political history has been shaped by tragedies and communal violence, including the 2002 Gujarat riots. No party should turn human suffering or innocent deaths into political capital. Accountability and justice must come before electoral gains.

[Deepak @DeepakDiscuss]

@TrikaTriggered Two sides: one side is tragedy and second side welcome dance in rain for Amit Shah 😅

[Press Trust of India @PTI_News]

VIDEO | Kolkata: Home Minister Amit Shah welcomed by CM Suvendu Adhikari upon his arrival at the airport.

Artists greet the Home Minister with traditional performances ahead of his visit to Durga Puja pandals.

@Fafo_xyz @KolkataPolice @BJP4Bengal Aye bhai half pant , you go to UP bihar please.
When you start writing lathi charge, it is understood. 👍

[Deepak @DeepakDiscuss]

Double standards as usual. West Bengal deserves accountability. Those responsible must be identified through a fair investigation and brought to justice, regardless of their position or political affiliation.

[Roshan Rai @RoshanKrRaii]

*Stampede in opposition ruled state*

Sanghis : Management failed, Police failed, CM should resign.

* Stampede in BJP ruled state*

Sanghis : Don’t do politics over this today, it is a tragedy, have some shame you VULTURES.

Waah re doglo.

[Deepak @DeepakDiscuss]

@Satdharma25 @SudhanidhiB When people expected support where was govt and organisers.

[Gems of BJP @Gems_of_BJP]

No ambulance. No police. Locals came to the rescue otherwise death toll in the Kolkata stampede would have been twice.

Btw same day police was busy ransacking bookstall in Jadavpur.

[Deepak @DeepakDiscuss]

@subhsays Fact is BJP never learned its lesson. Even after so much mismanagement in KUMBH MELA 2025.
BJP should focus on themselves first, instead of enrolling names in Pujo committee, should do some ground work.

[Swati Moitra @swatiatrest]

Who sold VIP passes on Flipkart Minutes?
Who permitted it?
Did the police/admin/pujo committee know how many were sold?
Has any organiser been arrested yet?
Is the current KP team competent at all in crowd management? Do they know the streets?

We need answers. #Chorebagan

[Deepak @DeepakDiscuss]

@abasu4ever Before pointing fingers at anyone.
How and why it happened ?
You didn't even asked who is responsible in this tragedy ?
Where are pujo committee members ?
Any statement made by them or not ?

Accountability is very less discussed topic now a days.

[Deepak @DeepakDiscuss]

@TheBongHead This happened due to mismanagement, not the crowd. If people wait for hours seeing open space ahead, overcrowding is predictable. That's why crowd management is the authorities' responsibility. Don't blame the public for poor planning.

[Deepak @DeepakDiscuss]

@SudhanidhiB @abasu4ever They should have learned better after what happened in Kumbh Mela 2025. This govt has state and central resources instead of wasting in removing book stalls ,should have been used efficiently.

[Deepak @DeepakDiscuss]

@abasu4ever @abasu4ever Blaming the public for rain is convenient, but crowd control is the authorities' duty. Rain is predictable, a stampede isn't inevitable. Let the inquiry establish the lapses before declaring anyone blameless. Accountability must be equal.

[Deepak @DeepakDiscuss]

@Kamru_Choudhury Unemployed youth. WB is doomed as other others.

[Deepak @DeepakDiscuss]
