After all, @GenesisUSA 's GV70 electrified is NOT one of the safest pick or even a safe car to drive for that matter? @IIHS_autosafety@NHTSAgov@NBCNews

Genesis GV70 EV 2024: Multiple recalls, ZERO transparency about compromised batteries – a well-known fire hazard, and absolutely no indications on dashboard!? @GenesisUSA, you’ve failed your customers— here’s why
Our brand-new GV70 from May 2024 went in for multiple recalls, after which it stopped charging completely. After being with the dealership for 40 days (!!!), they discover “physical damage” underneath that punctured the batteries requiring an obscene $42,000 battery replacement cost. Not one person from @GenesisUSA or Genesis of Framingham has answers to –
1. Why wasn’t this damage caught on the first day (if it happened with us and not in their care) ? Addressing it sooner could have minimized damage and costs, potentially saving our car from being totaled !!!
2. Punctured batteries are a known fire hazard, right? How can a luxury $70k EV have zero dashboard warnings even with all batteries compromised? Were we unknowingly driving a car that could burst into flames anytime? @NHTSAgov, any thoughts?
To top it off, absolutely disgraceful customer support from @GenesisUSA on this case where the dealership and @GenesisUSA keep repeating each other’s statements. You sell expensive, luxurious cars but provide customer service that wouldn’t pass for a budget roadside assistance program. ☹
We trusted @GenesisUSA, but it’s clear the only “luxury” they care about is their profits. Buyers, beware—this brand will abandon you the moment something goes wrong.
Tagging everyone who needs to know about this. Please contact me or my husband, @Pratik9920430 for any further information/ support.
