Reservations are not going to be abolished. Instead of demanding the impossible, we should ask for the reforms in the present system.

• Strict enforcement of the 50% ceiling on reservations, as laid down by the Supreme Court

• Remove politically and socially dominant castes from the SC/ST/OBC lists and place them in the General Category.

• No reservation in the private sector at any cost.

• Scrap EWS reservation. If reservation is to be based on economic criteria, it should apply equally to everyone not only to selected categories alongside caste-based quotas.

• Allow General Category candidates to claim vacant seats from reserved categories, similar to the existing provision that allows reserved category candidates to occupy unfilled General Category seats.

@krishnabgowda @thekjgeorge The same BESCOM few days back started drilling at exactly midnight 12.30 am till 2.30 am in Yelahanka 5th phase surrounded by 4 khb apartments, when asked the incharge of work (maintenance MS palya) he said they have written permission from senior officials to drill at odd hours!

SC girl questioned EWS for General. General girl hit back: “Why should every SC/ST person get reservation? If poverty is the basis, shouldn’t only the poor get it?”

🚨 Wow reservation issue has now reached even schools.

A class teacher made two rows of students. One for General and one for SC/ST. Both students had to talk about reservation.

The SC girl talked about General getting the benefits of EWS but the General girl instantly replied why every SC/ST person gets reservation. There's no rich and poor among them which is unfair. Only the poor ones should get reservation.

No one from the SC/ST row had a reply to this. Girl alone ended the whole debate 🙏

@JoshiPralhad @EduMinOfIndia Many KVS that I am aware of in Bengaluru especially are short of tgt and pgt teachers for core subjects maths and science streams,though sanctioned positions are more like if sanctioned is 2 just 1 is filled,there are scenarios where sanctioned is 3 but no permanent teacher

@JoshiPralhad @EduMinOfIndia Ask them to release class 9 NCERT social science and Maths part 2 books asap sir, also road map for class 10 2027-28 textbooks release and tentative timelines, textbooks delayed are extremely stressful both to students and teachers and it's pain for parents
