🐨🐹🐱🐿🐥🐻🐰:
We’ve decided not to submit our work for this year’s Grammy Awards. We hope music will be recognized and loved for what it is, rather than being divided by region or language. Thank you, as always, to ARMY and everyone who supports us.
[NEWS] According to Google Trends, the search volume index for the keyword #BTS on the 20th , the day of the World Cup final , increased to approximately four times the usual level.
The Google Trends search volume index is a metric that shows relative changes in search volume by setting the point of highest search volume during a specific period to 100. When comparing the search volume index set to 100 for the day of the final, the index for the period prior to the final (July 12 –July 19) was around 26; this is interpreted to mean that nearly four times as many people searched for BTS on that day compared to before.
Furthermore, excluding the World Cup final, the highest search volume index for ' BTS ' over the past year was in mid-March of this year , when BTS made their comeback with their 5th studio album, 'ARIRANG' . At the time, the search volume index was 54. Regional search inflow patterns also support this analysis.
According to the global music platform Spotify, BTS recorded over 30 million streams on the day of the match, achieving the highest number of streams among the artists who participated in the World Cup final halftime show, including global pop stars Madonna, Shakira, and Justin Bieber. In particular, streaming of BTS's hit song " Dynamite " immediately after the halftime performance was recorded to have increased by 105 % compared to before the show .
