Nestled along the rugged Algarve coastline of Portugal, Benagil Cave is a breathtaking natural masterpiece—an immense limestone cathedral sculpted by centuries of Atlantic waves. Sunlight streams through its iconic circular oculus like a divine spotlight, bathing the secluded golden beach below in ethereal radiance and casting shifting patterns of gold and turquoise across the towering walls. Accessible only by boat or kayak, this hidden sanctuary captures pure wonder: the gentle lapping of crystal waters, the cool hush of stone, and the profound sense that you have stepped into nature’s most intimate secret.
THE SEVEN SISTERS FALLS
Near Mawsmai, outside Sohra, a 315-metre limestone wall waits in silence. Then the monsoon hits one of the wettest places on Earth, and seven silver streams step out of the cloud and stand side by side.
No single river. No crowd-pleasing plunge pool. Just seven sisters who refuse to merge. Close enough to look related. Far enough to stay themselves.
Some say they leapt together to escape an unwanted suitor and became water so they could never be separated. Others say they are shy. They only appear in seasons of abundance. Take the rain for granted, and they go back into the cloud.
In summer the cliff is almost bare rock. In July it becomes a curtain. By winter the sisters thin into threads, then vanish. The place is not broken in the dry months. It is honest. This is rain made visible.
You barely have to earn the view. A roadside stop. The whole theatre at once: cliff, mist, forest, and the plains stretching beyond the gorge. Late light turns the water gold. People go quiet without being asked.
Elon Musk is the best entrepreneur alive right now, and it’s not particularly close.
He’s the best capital allocator, the best optimizer, the best engineering manufacturer and the best lean business execution expert.
He makes the impossible possible.
Most founders optimize for a good outcome. He optimizes for an outcome that shouldn’t be possible.
Capital allocation is the first tell. He doesn’t treat money like a scoreboard. He treats it like fuel. Profits from one company get rammed into the next harder problem instead of being milked, parked, or quietly extracted. That is rare. Most “visionaries” eventually start acting like landlords of their own success. He keeps acting like the building isn’t finished.
Then comes optimization. First principles isn’t a slogan with him. It’s a reflex. He looks at a process everyone accepted as expensive, slow, or impossible and asks what physics actually requires. Everything else is tradition, regulation, or someone else’s margin. That habit compounds. Small improvements become structural advantages. Structural advantages become new industries.
Engineering is the core. Not product design. Not branding. Actual engineering at the level of manufacturing, propulsion, energy, and software working as one system. He doesn’t just ship a better version of an existing thing. He tries to collapse the entire stack. Reusable rockets. Vehicles that are computers first. Networks that treat space as infrastructure. The pattern is the same: remove the parts that only exist because no one had the nerve to delete them.
Lean execution is what makes the rest dangerous. Big visions usually die in committees, slide decks, and “we’ll get to it later.” His companies ship while the commentary is still explaining why it can’t work. Iteration is violent. Deadlines are real. Waste is treated like a moral failure. That combination—ambition plus speed plus intolerance for theater—is almost nonexistent at scale.
The result is not a collection of successful companies. It’s a single operating system applied to different domains: energy, transport, space, AI, communications. Most entrepreneurs win a category. He keeps trying to rewrite the category itself.
That’s why the usual comparisons fail. Different game. Different time horizon. Different appetite for looking ridiculous until the numbers arrive.
He’s not the best because he’s loud. He’s the best because he keeps converting capital, physics, and urgency into things that previously required a government, a decade, and a shrug.
Politics has consequences for capitalism. The states running the experiment are publishing the results every year in the IRS migration tables.
@elonmusk proved this to @LorenaSGonzalez and the socialist politicians in California
In May 2020, Tesla was still the last major carmaker in California. Elon Musk said Alameda County’s lockdown was the final straw and that the headquarters and future programs were moving to Texas or Nevada. Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez, author of the AB5 gig-work law, replied with one line: “F*ck Elon Musk.” He answered, “Message received.”
Tesla’s headquarters went to Austin in 2021. SpaceX’s headquarters went to Starbase, Texas, in 2024. The factories did not all vanish overnight. The signal did. Capital, future programs, and the people who write the checks started treating California as optional.
That is the mechanism. Progressive politicians treat employers as a captive tax base and a political prop. High income taxes, hostile labor rules, endless permitting, and the occasional public middle finger are sold as solidarity. Businesses do not vote. They leave. When the high earners and the payrolls follow, the tax base shrinks and the remaining residents get the bill.
The scoreboard is not subtle. IRS migration data for 2022–23 show California losing about 100,000 tax filers and roughly $11.9 billion in adjusted gross income. New York lost about 72,000 filers and $9.9 billion. Texas gained about 56,000 filers and $5.5 billion. Florida gained about 55,000 filers and $20.6 billion. The single biggest household flow in the country was California to Texas. A National Taxpayers Union estimate put the annual revenue hit from that migration near $4.5 billion for California and a gain near $4.2 billion for Florida.
Jobs tell the same story. From February 2020 to late 2025, Texas added about 1.36 million nonfarm jobs and Florida about 928,000. California added about 360,000. New York added about 162,000. Same country, same Fed, same pandemic. Different rules.
Then comes the spiral. Fewer employers and fewer high earners mean less revenue. Sacramento and Albany do not cut spending to match. They reach for higher rates, wealth taxes, and new fees on whoever is still stuck there. The people who can leave accelerate the exit. The people who cannot pay more for worse services. Housing stays scarce because the same political class blocks building. Schools and streets do not improve because the money is already spoken for. Quality of life falls, which becomes another reason to leave.
Gonzalez later called the move the act of a snowflake upset about one bad word. The word was the tell, not the cause. Companies were already priced by taxes, lockdowns, regulation, and a political culture that cheers when a factory threatens to go. Texas and Florida did not have to recruit them with poetry. They got their bounty served from California on a silver platter.
In 1955 the median American family earned the equivalent of 125.7 ounces of gold. Measured against today’s gold price, that same real purchasing power equals roughly $554,400 a year—far beyond what most households now bring home.
The gap reveals a simple truth: the unit you choose to measure wealth determines whether you see progress or decline. Dollars inflate, assets shift, and living standards can look stagnant or soaring depending on the yardstick.
Imagine instead tracking your net worth in Bitcoin from 2013. A modest holding that once seemed trivial would now represent generational wealth. How you measure your wealth makes all the difference.
Ultimately, the erosion of the dollar’s value—and the startling rise in what gold and Bitcoin can buy—stems from one primary force: central banks relentlessly printing money, flooding the system with currency and driving the inflation that silently transfers wealth from savers to those holding scarce assets.
@TheSCIF@WesternLensman@GuntherEagleman@wikileaks@JulianAssange Barack Obama says he would sometimes “fantasize” about women being in charge of all governments, says things would “be better.”
Did he forget that millions of woke feminists supported a triple murderer?
If Democrats ever retake the United States Senate, the filibuster is gone anyway.
Day one
No debate
No hesitation
Pack the Supreme Courts
Erase every institutional guardrail
‼️‼️‼️ DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM‼️‼️‼️
Nancy Pelosi — “If we win the Senate, we will get rid of the 60 vote rule and pass it with 51 votes.”
If they win… the Democrats will immediately nuke the filibuster, open borders and destroy America if they can cheat their way into power again.
"Somebody made $180,000 a year and after 10 years they were worth $100 million dollars.
Anybody want to ask questions why, when they don't own any companies, they don't run any businesses?
You should.
By the way, that's a lot of our politicians."
