@MarkJCarney Congratulations on your victory and please accept our apologies for @realDonaldTrump Feel free to kick 45s butt from Washington DC all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. Long live Canadian sovereignty. You still have friends in the US.
@iKalebHenry Ok, just read the rules on https://t.co/behSJ3F8GI. It is possible to revert back to head to head in a 3+ team tiebreaker. You are correct. Thanks.
https://t.co/aNHFUsDSOE @iKalebHenry Re: the path forward with a loss scenario. Iowa and Rut advance via winning percentage leaving Neb and NW for the final spot at 1-3 each. It doesn’t go to head to head from there, but vs B1G top teams. Coming down to vs M’land where NW wins?
@Gaardsy Hindsight is 20/20, at the time my thought was to ice the game in that spot. Full length of field TD and recover onside kick, then they only need a FG. But odds favor that not happening. All would have been moot if we could pick up 1 yard on two attempts.
@GopherHole Their pre Big Ten schedule last year was a meatgrinder. DePaul, UNLV, V-Tech, Purdue, Michigan and Miss St. all before January. This year was one of the easiest in the nation. I have hopes they can compete a little better that last year, but the Big Ten isn’t a cupcake league.
@Gopherated The Gophers strength of schedule so far this year ranks 360 out of 362. The Big Ten is not a cupcake conference. I would love to see more BigTen wins, but I don’t have high hopes.
@dshav2@TonyLiebert Sure he gets credit for the first half, there was a good game plan going in. The other coach made adjustments. This late game collapse is a regular thing for three years. Part of being a coach is getting your team back on track when they lose focus.
@TonyLiebert 6 - I think Ben is a good at some things; recruiting, filling in holes on the roster year to year, buy in from the players. He is a bad coach during the game. The late game collapses happen way too often, year after year. The players change, the only common element is Ben.
Quote of the game @Vikings vs @Saints just before the final Hail Mary attempt. Announcer “About 70% of the games in this league come down to the final score.”
