I find it odd that Nick champions and is a fan of this type of masculinity, or perhaps sometimes even has wholesome takes on other forms of masculinity (like recently), but he rejects and mocks every true form of masculine strength and courage in the form of physical capability or willingness to implement it.

The contradictions and cherry picking of what is masculine from him becomes exhausting. He needs to hang with some real bros outside of his bubble hipster comfort zone and come shoot and climb a mountain or something lol. I’m still hanging on to the idea that he will embrace the addition of these attributes and fulfill his arc!
