If the government could permit all school leaders in all quintile schools to raise additional funds, more poor schools would be encouraged to buy outstanding resources, such as technological equipment. What is your position? #FutureTrends
Covid-19 accelerated the transition to 4IR and exposed the education sector's readiness to address its implications on the education system and impact on various stakeholders.

@MeshGovender @kershnee_nair@Ferdie_Hartogh @AyobZubeida @YouTube @MeshGovender I agree. In my interviews in assignment 1 for #FutureTrends, I also came across unused computers, in a school where the principal claimed that the school is technologically under-resourced. Education leaders should be also held accountable for not using resources.
@RasheedaBandath I agree. It is all about the paperwork, hence Dr. Marwala stated in his book that " We need to work hard to ensure that we bring education, not certification in our community." We need to listen to those, who knows more and better. #FutureTrends
@Sarah_Hassain_ Marius Oosthiuzen gave us hope when he stated that “In the context of Africa, we have to think, not in a sequential way, but in an integrated way". The article below propose ideas on how the 4IR could aid in eradicating existing challenges#FutureTrends https://t.co/8cbuZK53F5
@LeratoValentia7 Yes, cell phones in the classroom can be a concern , however, as 21st century teachers we have to take full advantage of our "new realities". Cellphones could be considered with effective control. The article below tells us how.

Cell phones are part of student's daily life and can be used as an educational tool, especially in under-resourced schools. Why are some school leaders still against it in schools? The video below might change your mind.#FutureTrends

Great possibilities await institutions of education leaders if they apply new scientific theories to create a culture of innovation and creativity for "new realities".
✅Teachers would be eager to think creatively.
✅Assume accountability for their growth.

Suppose leaders could apply path-goal theory, which advocates for employee happiness, motivation, and performance. Would more teachers
think out of the box to overcome new challenges? #FutureTrends
Transformational leadership, if applied correctly, has the potential to transform subordinates to take responsibility for their professional development.#FutureTrends

If teachers get sufficient technological training, school leaders would have fewer intimidated teachers who are reluctant to use technology, true or false?.#FutureTrends
Quintile 1-3 schools in S-A struggle to raise funds as the government fully funds them.
However, state funding is problematic for school principals because it is prescribed, delayed and sometimes insufficient. What can the government do to assist school leaders?

Funding for technological development in schools for 4IR readiness is a constant debate, especially for school leaders in the 21st century. What is your position?

I interviewed one principal for my #FutureTrends assignment who had computers which were donated. I asked him if there were any ITC classes offered, and he said no, and his reason was that teachers do not know how to use the devices properly. Any advice for this principal?
Some teachers are scared and intimidated to use ITC in schools, and this can be due to a lack of professional development in teaching with technology. How could education leaders assist teachers with professional development ?

Dr. Marwala wrote that future employment would require digital, scientific, and technical skills.
Looking at the attached picture, are existing learners currently not exposed to technological knowledge and skills already unemployed for the future?
