Govt has made the PF contribution above 1800 per month optional.
If you're happy that your in-hand salary will be increased then you've a lot to learn about taxation.
It's another trap to tax you more, don't opt for 1800 limit if your employer is giving you an option, keep contributing up to maximum or 2.5L per year limit.
The employer contribution of PF is tax free right now but if you don't want to go beyond 1800 per month, employers will add remaining amount in your salary and on that you've to pay income tax at slab rate.
Tumb rule is, never celebrate any policy by this Govt that seems employees friendly, it will never be. They never make taxpayers friendly policy.
Why’re BJP ldrs upset over Karnataka SIR(Special Intensive Revision). Perhaps due to their voters being hit. A slap does hurt when it’s your face. @ECISVEEP must simplify procedure & only delete dead, migrated or duplicate voters. Not mass strip & search with onus on voters.

Can you please enlighten us on why 127 cuts were recommended for the film Panjab '95?
The same film, now renamed ‘Satluj’, has been taken down from an OTT platform in less than two days. The CBFC has no jurisdiction over OTT platforms or international releases.
Panjab '95 tells the story of Jaswant Singh Khalra, a man who exposed documented human rights abuses and paid for it with his life. If a film based on documented facts cannot be seen by Indian audiences, then the public deserves to know why.
This sends a very direct message to filmmakers and production companies: if you're paying homage to a great personality from a minority community, you'll have to face the CBFC.
Journalists should be asking the people running this censor board some hard questions. Why are some politically insensitive films able to pass with ease while others spend years in limbo?
A red carpet for Kashmir Files, Bengal Files, and Kerala Story. Roses for Dhurandar 1 & 2, a fictional documentary/explainer for the unthinkable and the unexplainable.
How does it feel to feast on four years of a director's career?
In Nehru's India, this would have been litigated in court. If filmmakers cannot tell the stories of people who stood up for justice without years of obstruction, what kind of cinema are we encouraging them to make?
Jaswant Singh Khalra Abducted again,
This time by the CBFC
The sooner politicians understand this, the better it will be for their future and the country’s.
A commoner is not obsessed with India becoming a superpower.
A commoner is least bothered whether the deity is called Arunachaleswarar or Annamalaiyar.
People are growing wary of all such narratives.
What they are actually looking for is:
Employment opportunities that enable a financially dignified life
Freedom from paying bribes to every petty official they encounter in daily life
Good quality water and air
Proper footpaths to walk on
Comfortable space in trains to travel
Affordable, well connected public transportation
Well maintained public places like parks where they can relax with family
Affordable or subsidised quality education and healthcare
At least a minimum social safety net for their retired life or old age
I hope you get the drift.
They want both their quality of life and standard of living to improve.
They want far less ideology- especially divisive ideologies.
All they want are basic improvements in daily life.
Politicians who understand this will have a bright future.
Those who don’t will fade into oblivion.
Ek salary wale client ko ITR filing ke liye call kiya.
Pichhle saal usne lagbhag ₹2 lakh Income Tax diya tha.
Is saal woh September se Unemployed hain.
Usne poocha, "Sir, pichhle saal jo tax diya tha, usme se kuch refund mil sakta hai?"
Maine kaha, "Refund sirf tab milta hai jab tax zyada deduct ya deposit ho gaya ho."
Phir mann mein ek hi baat aayi...
Government tab tak hi aapke saath hai, jab tak aapke paas taxable income hai.
Income khatam, tax bhi khatam... aur support bhi.
Vehicle buyers pay huge upfront taxes, fees, and cesses. In return, they deserve the basic right to buy the exact fuel their vehicle engines were designed to run on.
If the govt wanted to "experiment" with E20 fuel, they should have done it responsibly by either buying a sample fleet of second-hand cars to test in a controlled settings or invite willing citizens to opt-in using subsidized fuel.
Forcing a mandatory policy onto everyone first and checking if it damages their engines later is outrageous. Treating the entire public as involuntary test subjects is a massive overreach.

This is actually a good option.
My wife moved back to India in 2017-18 (from Hong Kong Polytechnic Univ) under the ASPIRE program (very similar to this one).
Her appointment and joining was finalised in less than 30 days and she has done really well in her career at DST-CSIR.
In less than 8 years, went on to become the Principal Scientist and is working on multiple mega-projects across the country (Delhi-NCR, Andaman, Rajasthan, Orissa, MP).
She still engages on research projects with IIT Delhi (she is a IIT D alumna), HK Poly and Stanford - Best of both worlds.
If you are a research scientist and want to move back to India, this is a good option.
How is it not a bigger deal that US strikes have claimed 3 Indian lives? How's there no reciprocation at all? Or even an outrage by so many who claim to be nationalists? Where's our spine gone really?
The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in India categorically rejects the reports and claims circulated by certain media outlets regarding the economic situation in Iran and alleged difficulties in the supply of essential goods and public necessities.
It is emphasized that, despite the imposition of three wars and extensive pressures against the Iranian nation, no shortage of essential commodities or basic necessities has occurred to date. Owing to the effective measures and responsible management of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran under the leadership of President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, the procurement, supply, and distribution of the goods required by the country continue in a normal, stable, and uninterrupted manner.
The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran also urges respected Indian media organizations to obtain and disseminate news and reports concerning Iran from credible, official, and verifiable sources. In this regard, it should be recalled that Iran International is a media outlet affiliated with opponents and adversaries of the Iranian people and has a long record of disseminating biased narratives aligned with anti-Iranian political agendas. Consequently, it cannot be regarded as a credible source for accurately reflecting the realities of Iran.

PM Modi is saying 'thank you' to Trump.
Thank you for exactly what? For attacking ships with Indians on board and killing Indian nationals? The situation has become hopelessly embarrassing for our country now.
Modi ji has completely surrendered India's sovereignty, pride and the lives of its citizens to Trump. India needs a strong Prime Minister. Trump cannot be allowed to do whatever he pleases with our country and our people.
