I am really really so sad at hearing this.
Andrew Foster was someone I looked up to.
A man of principle and compassion who set an example of ethical leadership for us all.
May he rest in peace.
'Your voice is your gift.' @deafmediator Matthew James reflects on his leadership journey, the strength in building #NHS communities and the unique connections among deaf people, mentors and allies. #DeafNHSGathering#OurNHSPeople
Proud of the old man after a busy few days. Shouldn’t need to apologise for being a good person and standing by his word. The reaction of the public has been overwhelming. Thanks for the support 👊
Congratulations to our very own @Louie_Horne One Nations Award UK’s Health Care Service Award WINNER. A much deserved win for this amazing human being. A formidable nurse leader, fighter & inspiration in the Filipino-British community & beyond!

And a thread 🧵
To help us further showcase the relaunched #desiabled campaign, we're introducing Dilmeet!
He shares: I use Instagram as a page to post stuff about my disability and also I speak to people in person in the real world as well. For example at the gym or at the gurdwara.
Our founder Sukhjeen had a brilliant idea to relaunch the #desiabled campaign with a photoshoot to showcase more diversity within the disabled community.
We have high hopes for the campaign open up conversations of disability within South Asian communities.

@anu_obaro@BTP@Se_Railway @MPSShortlands I hope the school lodges a formal complaint against all the individuals and institutions involved in this shameful and despicable treatment of two children trying to get to school. I am shocked, hurt and despairing. Why ? Oh Why does this continue happening to our children?
Excited to be here for the NHS Disability Summit 2022. Looking forward to a day of quality speakers and opportunities to explore what disability equality means to the NHS #DisabilitySummit@wdesnews
Big thanks to B-ME staff network for people of colour @Ldn_Ambulance for an inspirational conversation w NHSE Chair Richard Meddings & myself about their lived experiences. Every NHS staff member needs to be able to bring their best selves to work and be treated fairly & equally.
