Some of us have been interested in ‘current affairs’ from a very young age learning from our parents (without internet), watch NTA network News at 9pm till 10, watch LTV @ 8pm, and Channels @ 10pm, Radio from 6am after praying subhi till 9am, get newspapers from vendors DAILY for daddy & read some pages before he sees it, I knew full-names of almost all Governors of the 1999/2003 set, had a solid background from my primary school too, with so many other examples.

So being informed is a family thing for some of us, I thank my parents for that solid background.

I remember 2023 elections.

This was exactly same way politicians fanatics were saying “Sarafa o lowo lowo.” “Sarafa lahun”. And on social media, online political analysts saying “who is Sarafa?” Lol!!

In 2023, Sarafa Ali was donating the least amount up and down. Just following his Reps and Governorship candidates up and down jeje. And doing his own interior movements. He was entering ojule sojule, agbole sagbole.

His money no dey pass, 200k here, 500k there.
By the time Election reach. Sarafa won!!

I don’t like to listen to fanatics of politicians, they always talk about how their candidate is richer and more popular. Not critically looking at how to beat their opponent, no matter how small.

As an opposition, I would rather do everything possible to make sure a Sarafa Ali doesn’t get on ballot.

The space is about getting to know Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi.

The first time I heard that Hon Bimbo Adekanmbi was GSM’s choice was February 16 2024.

The second time with a more affirmative tone was July 31, 2024. Both times I heard this from strong APC chieftains. I didn’t believe!

Of everyone who showed interest in succeeding GSM, there can never be more with interesting ties and links between GSM and the opposition party.

So I have continued to ask for over 2 months I have been quiet? Why Bimbo Adekanmbi?

I know why, the young followers who will follow GSM to heaven and hell do not know.

APC Oyo and Federal know, and that is why they will rather present an uncertain candidate and support GSM’s candidate on election day, than give you any other candidate.

This is all a game!!

Years back, I was in 100L, studying accounting. I was already teaching my mates across different departments in the faculty, Mathematics and accounting. Everyone knew me.

One of the people I taught told her sister about me. That I break down the complex stuffs so anybody can understand. So the sister contacted me to teach her and some of her class mates. They attend open university, studying accounting but they were in 200L.

I didn’t even ask what I was supposed to teach. I just went 😂. Me wey Dey find money. Anywhere income Dey, bring am come.

I got there o, they said let’s do accounting, I said okay, which topic? They said “container accounts”. Container account ke. I don’t know it o. I didn’t tell them that sha.

Their school always have study texts so I asked if they have it in print. They gave it to me. I opened the chapter. Seeing container account for the first time (but I’ve heard the name before), I knew I had to do something cause I can’t leave money on the table.

I told them they have 5 mins to settle down. Get their books, pee if they have to, cause I don’t like students getting distracted in my class or going out because that will set them back and I’ll have to explain to them again (just to buy time, but I actually do this).

I used that 5 mins to study and master the entire thing. Found that it was just specialized “posting go the ledger”.

The way I broke it down for them, they thought I’ve been teaching that topic for years. We had subsequent meetings and 4 of them got an A in the course.

That was one of the earliest days I was able phantom the degree of what I have up there.
