@ByChrisMurray Are Nevada fans overreacting to the MTSU loss, or is there legitimate reason to believe this season is shaping up to be more of the same? If this level of play continues, what win total do you realistically expect, and when does the administration consider a coaching change?
Sadly this looks like the same old Nevada we’ve seen for years now. Week 1 got our hopes up. Unless something changes this season Choates seat will be scorching hot.
@ByChrisMurray Are fans overreacting to the Jones situation? Getting scratched late + Choate not addressing the injury has some fans saying it feels “fishy.” Was this just aggravating an injury in warmups and being cautious in preseason, or could there be more to it?
👋 For Wolf Pack fans who were very upset last night and this morning (It was a frustrating game for multiple reasons)
Montana St is one of the best teams Nevada will play this season. Arguably top 3 if not top 2.
They will be alright. Bowl game still very much in play.
@ByChrisMurray After a rough stretch at QB since the Carson Strong days, how concerned are you after 2 games? Jones was okay Week 1 but didn’t have to do much with the run game, then missed Week 2 with injury. With the OL, run game and D looking good, will QB ultimately hold them back?
BREAKING: Nevada football coach Jeff Choate says incumbent Carter Jones will start at quarterback for the Wolf Pack’s season opener Sept. 5 against Western Kentucky. He beat UCLA transfer Luke Duncan for the starting job.
@ByChrisMurray For Nevada, which outcome would be more valued, winning the NIT or making the NCAA Tournament but losing in the first round? And do you think fans and the athletic department would view that differently?
