Today, I reflect on the deep-rooted faith I hold in the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I acknowledge that there are varying opinions about the historical aspects of my church's teachings. However, I believe that faith transcends historical accuracies or discrepancies. It is a personal journey, one that is measured not by empirical evidence but by the growth, peace, and positivity it brings into my life.

I am aware that some might see my faith as based on imperfect teachings or historical inconsistencies. But to me, faith is about the transformation and enrichment it offers. The teachings of my church are not just doctrines; they are the pillars upon which I build my life, find my joy, and draw my strength.

This is a declaration of my commitment to my beliefs. It's a testament to the joy and fulfillment my faith brings me. I respect the diverse beliefs and opinions that exist around me, and I hope for the same respect in return. Let my journey of faith be a source of personal enrichment, mutual respect, and understanding.

It was mentioned that the words to I am a Child of God, and Families Can Be Together Forever, are being adjusted slightly to accommodate new social norms.

Changing “parents kind and dear” to something different. Not sure of other changes

Is this true?

I found out something new this week (keep in mind, I don’t keep track of such information).

If your wife is really into sewing…and my wife is really into sewing…(I mean she does custom wedding dresses, and some of my suits) they will take it as a personal insult if you suggest to borrow her fabric sciccors to cut anything but fabric.

I wanted to snip a very, very small piece of paper…the look I received made me realize there was a disturbance in the force.
