Fragments Of Pain Pieces of Growth— Still learning, Still growing, Still becoming.
Each fragment of pain, bitterness, sadness or negative emotions that was ever channelled towards me, in one way or another contributed to my growth up until where I am now.
Today is my birthday and I wish to share some experiences and lessons I've learnt so far and which I'm still learning.
I share this not to advise or motivate anyone but to remind myself of a couple things that help reshape and rewire me up till date.
>I remember the days when I used to ask myself, what "life" was and what's the concept behind it, what makes it worth living?
And over time it became clearer, with each experience I faced both
good and bad.
I came to realise there is no particular meaning as to what life is, we are the ones to choose to give life meaning through purpose, experiences, emotions and so much more, only you get to decide to make life worth living for yourself
>I remember, Dec 24th, 2019 around 9:30pm-10:00ppm when my sister and I stepped out to go get some meds at a pharmacy store, just after saying night prayers.
On arrival at the pharmacy store, there was an open gun fire of cultists around the area and to our utmost dismay.
A pregnant woman and an elderly man got hit in front of us alongside few others that got injured by the cultist attack, some gunshots broke a couple syrup bottles in the store as well
But we didn't get hit, we ran back home immediately, and then that strengthened my belief that God was real.
Don't ever joke with the God factor please!,
Personally Psalm 91, 51 and 23 have been my guardians ever since.
>I remember October 6th, 2025 just before I began my product design journey.
One of my mentors advised me to choose what I genuinely had interest in, something I know that's capable of securing my future, a concrete skill to add to already existing ones.
And at last when I concluded on what I wanted he only told me one thing before we proceeded
"A lot depends on you from here".
Since that day, those very words rewired me instantly, constantly thinking of how to get better everyday both work and personal development too.
>I remember Nov 11th 2025, i just came back from my IT a few days ago before then, on a blissful evening, me and my dad sitting at the balcony of our home.
While discussing random things concerning life, he took a pause and thanked me for being his son, that I'm a blessing to both my parents and the society.
Now this was the very first time in my life my dad complimented me in front of me, I teared up instantly,
And then it dawned on me, that literally everything and everyone close to me are betting on me in one way or the other
>I remember November 9th, 2025.
The day I travelled back after I was done with my IT, and just before leaving I had a talk with a mentor.
There are three significant things he mentioned that should guide my every decision and for some reason I'd never forget them.
That before taking any decision whether big or small in my life I should put these three things into consideration;
• Benefit
• Risk
• Cost
And these three principles have guided me so far concerning what ever decisions I make in my life no matter how small it is
[You should try it too and see how it works like magic].
>I remember a line said by Jim Rohn in one of his videos and it goes like this,
"Everyday stand guard at the door of your mind and you decide what goes into your mental factory don't let anyone just dumb what they want in your mental factory because you got to live with the results"
This quote alone is self explanatory but then I read more meaning into it.
Failure is a myth if only you refuse to quit, showing up consistently on what you do is hard, but the only way to outperform everyone
One has to be at their strongest even on their worse days to beat their opponents on their best days.
>I remember two very significant quotes of Marcus Aurelius who was a Roman emperor.
i built a whatsapp agent that closed a sale at 1am while the owner was fast asleep.
the agent lives on whatsapp where the customers already are. it knows the full catalog, recommends the right product, price and everything else..,
studies say 78% of customers buy from the first business to respond, if you’re selling over whatsapp and still typing “yeah it’s in stock” by hand all day, i don’t know what to tell you.
