@Kartzmark @kovox@JaydenLibran Oh man I loved this. Timing on the comedy was great and the little exhale at the end! There are lots of little touches which made it a delight to watch/listen to. Thank you!
@ConceptualJames Finished my PhD 31, am 36 and still play video games.
So ugh..... Good for you I suppose? Don't be a douche waffle, do whatever you want and study whatever you want.
@Talegamesnews Seeing this level of honesty and reflection from a game studio is genuinely really good to see. I didn't know about this game until this post and glad it came to my attention
@itscoffeerun Science man here, used fancy equipment when doing research.
Tldr, if it doesn't need to be on you should turn it off. Capacitors, resistors, amplifiers and even just wiring can introduce electrical noise. Sometimes, if left running, the noise is perma. Good advice Coffee!
@DoobusGoobus 4. Seek CURRENT experts, they've made the mistakes once, don't repeat them
5. Hear all advice, only take some of it.
6. Last, never forget the audience only knows what tell them. Either you are right, and you did your best anyway, or your wrong and stop getting in your own way.
@DoobusGoobus IRL job is lecturing and research, so I got 3 minute conference pitches and 3 hours lectures. Here's a tldr for pacing taught to me by drama people (they're better at it)
1. Know the start and the finish before you create the middle
2. You are probably too fast
3. Get feedback
