I loved Dhurandhar-1, but The Revenge surpassed the original in both scale and soul.
The writing, casting, technical execution, music, world design and direction are flawless…. But it’s the emotional stakes that really ground it.

Rehna Ravindran is an Assistant Professor at the University of Delhi with a PhD from JNU. She calls herself a gender activist and an anti caste activist and claims to be fighting for freedom from patriarchy.
Of course.
According to her, a shikha is a Brahmin identity and casteism begins the moment a Brahmin man wears one. Indian universities, she says, operate as extensions of a casteist, Brahmanical, patriarchal society that relentlessly victimizes innocent SC, ST and OBC students.
Interesting theory.
She has no problem with women wearing burkhas. Crosses around necks are perfectly acceptable. Skull caps are cultural expression. All identities are valid, all symbols are respected.
Except one.
A Brahmin man wearing a shikha is suddenly oppression personified. That is where casteism begins. That is where patriarchy must be smashed.
So let us be honest. This is not anti caste. This is not anti patriarchy. This is not even about equality.
This is selective outrage where every religious and cultural symbol is defended as choice and freedom except the one she personally dislikes. One identity gets protection. Another gets demonized.
That is not activism.
That is prejudice wearing the costume of progressivism.
