An 800-kg wild gaur walked more than 300 km across Tamil Nadu, from the forests of Trichy to the shores of Pamban. What followed was one of the most complex wildlife operations undertaken in the state. After a month of tracking the animal through human-dominated landscapes, and when all efforts to guide it back to suitable habitat failed, the Tamil Nadu Forest Department carried out the state’s first long-distance gaur translocation. Nearly 100 personnel, including expert veterinarians and trackers, worked in challenging coastal terrain to safely tranquilize, transport and release the animal in a Reserve Forest in Dindigul after a 13-hour capture operation and a 9-hour journey. Translocating a gaur is among the most challenging wildlife management tasks. This successful operation marks a significant milestone in conflict mitigation and wildlife management, while providing valuable lessons for future human-wildlife conflict situations. Kudos to the entire team 👏👏💪
American missile strikes ship with Indian sailors on board . “U.S. Central Command (Centcom) said in a statement that “U.S. forces disabled (attacked) an unladen oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman, June 8, after the vessel violated the ongoing blockade against Iran by attempting to sail to an Iranian port.” Wonder if the American ambassador will be summoned ?

Even with repeated reminders, we sometimes see guests unintentionally leaving loose items unsecured during safaris. On bumpy rides, accessories like hats, scarves, sunglasses, lens caps or other small objects can easily fall off if not properly secured/fastened.
Curious animals often investigate these fallen items and may bite or swallow them, which can unfortunately cause serious injury or even death to the animals.
To help protect the wildlife, please ensure everything you carry is safely secured, ideally worn close to your body or safely kept away. Simple habits like using straps, clips, or secure pockets make a big difference.
By following these basic etiquettes, we can truly enjoy the animals in their natural habitat while ensuring our presence does no harm. After all, responsible wildlife viewing means caring not just about our sightings, but also about the well-being of the animals. Please show some empathy in every action you take. Be Wild. Live Wild.

AAP collapsed within one year of losing power.
TMC is collapsing within one month of losing power.
Congress has survived and fought BJP even after losing power 12 years ago. Even after BJP and Modi going relentlessly against our leadership.
That’s the power of ideology. That’s the power of an uncompromising and strong leader like Rahul Gandhi whose popularity is growing day by day.
He is the only one who can defeat Modi and BJP. And he will do so in 2029 in a straight fight with Modi.
No pretenders left to create confusion. It will be a crystal clear ideological and vision battle.
Corruption scandal of the decade.
Car Mileage drops from 22.5kmpl in XP100 to 14.6kmpl in E20. Government is obliterating millions of cars and looting common people to fill crony pockets.
Dear Prime Minister,
I am writing to request for a debate in Parliament on NEET tomorrow.
Our aim is to engage constructively in the interest of 24 lakh NEET aspirants who deserve answers.
I believe that it would be fitting if you were to lead this debate.
Stop fooling people with “cheap fuel” marketing.
Fuel is not cheap because the litre price is lower. Fuel is cheap only when cost per kilometre is lower.
If petrol/E20 at ₹102.12 gives 40 km/l, the running cost is ₹2.55 per km.
Now E85 is being shown as “₹20 cheaper” at around ₹82.12 per litre. Sounds great, right?
But E85 has much lower energy because ethanol carries less energy than petrol. So if mileage drops from 40 km/l to around 29 to 32 km/l, the so-called cheap fuel becomes equal or even costlier per km.
This is the real scam:
Government shows price per litre.
Public pays cost per kilometre.
And this is not just about mileage. Ethanol absorbs water. Water plus oxygen plus metal means corrosion risk. If ethanol-water separation happens inside storage or fuel systems, the bottom layer can become more corrosive and damaging to tanks, pumps, injectors, lines, seals and older fuel-system parts.
Basic chemistry:
Ethanol oxidation can form acetic acid:
C2H5OH + O2 → CH3COOH + H2O
Acid can attack iron:
Fe + 2CH3COOH → Fe(CH3COO)2 + H2
Rust needs iron, oxygen and water:
4Fe + 3O2 + 6H2O → 4Fe(OH)3
So stop calling it cheap unless you publish the full truth:
1. Blend percentage at every pump
2. Vehicle compatibility clearly displayed
3. Expected mileage loss
4. Cost per km, not just price per litre
5. Long-term impact on older vehicles
6. Warranty clarity in writing
If ethanol is truly better, prove it with transparent cost-per-km data. Don’t make citizens pay the same price for lower energy fuel and then tell them it is a national service.
Cheap per litre is marketing. Cheap per kilometre is reality.
Hi! Yes, everything is e20 now (20% ethanol)
XP100 and Power99 have lesser blend but they aren't available. Only 1-2 pumps per state.
E20 existed for months now which was imposed on everyone even if your car is e5 or e10 compliant which itself was unfair but lately, it looks like blend is silently increased and getting tested. Is it e27 or e30 we don't know.
This has caused fuel economy to go down further and causing severe issues in cars.
Brand service advisors say, this is happening due to adulteration of fuel. Silently they say that ever since e20 is enforced problems have shoot up in Petrol cars.
Brands say their cars are material compatible and they will repair everything till warranty lasts but even if you have warranty for 6 years, you will always be at risk after that.
Things doesn't stop here. For Petrol cars which are 70% e10 right now, how can you enforce e30 as standard? No country does that! This is clearly done to have repeated sales and make people change cars like Phones. This is basically a knee jerk reaction to with fat bills of oil we are getting with our weak currency.
All customers basically want are e10, e20 and e85 as separate dispensers and no adulteration at any level.
This non clarity has ruined car market for informed buyers because now each tech, Petrol, Diesel and EVs have diff issues. So basically, even after paying 40% GST on car, crazy amount of registration fee, you still can't be sure to own your car trouble free for 10 years.
Absolute clown show this.
We are talking about this issue from 2024 itself in our Youtube videos when it wasn't even an issue.
Banana farmers in Jalgaon's Raver region have suffered major losses after unseasonal rain and hailstorms damaged large areas of standing crops. A video shared by MLA Rohit Pawar shows farmers expressing their distress as months of hard work were affected by the sudden weather conditions.
Rohit Pawar has urged the state government to immediately assess the damage and announce a special relief package for affected farmers. He also appealed to Agriculture Minister Dattatray Bharane to personally visit the region and review the situation on the ground.
The incident has once again highlighted the challenges faced by farmers due to unpredictable weather and the need for timely support during crop losses.

The BMC sent Mumbai an unsigned note explaining that a ₹248 crore flyover is meant to open cracked, and will smooth out once we drive on it.
This is a blanket admission the road was opened unfinished, with the public’s vehicles left to do the final compaction the contractor was paid for. The same contractor who was already penalised ₹1 lakh a day for delay, and who hiked the project cost three times in 7 years.
I’ve written to BMC Commissioner @AshwiniBhide and Mayor @TawdeRitu. There are strict @MORTHIndia and IRC guidelines on evenness and riding quality of finished roads. They are not optional.
If the Bridges Department inspected this and found no deficiency, the readings exist. @mybmc must publish them and put a name to the clarification.
