Husband, father, and delegate representing the citizens of York, James City, Gloucester Counties and the City of Newport News in the Virginia House of Delegates
Friends:
These results were not what we wanted. We fought hard this election and worked to make Virginia safer and more affordable. As we look to the future, I am excited to spend more time with my wife, Ashley, my children, friends, and family. I do not know what this next chapter will bring, but I do hope and pray for Virginia's future. I thank the many helping hands that went into this campaign, our staff, our donors, and our faithful volunteers.
Again, from my heart, I thank you all.
Representing the hardworking people of HD 69 has been a true privilege. I hope to continue that service and keep fighting for lower taxes, better schools, safer neighborhoods, and a better quality of life for every family in the Commonwealth!
Democrats in Richmond spent the last 2 years trying to raise your taxes and your utility bills, looking the other way when criminals were released early, and encouraging schools to focus on indoctrination and not education. This is what’s on the line and why it’s so important to get out and vote for common sense on Tuesday! 🗳️🗳️
Jay Jones, Virginia’s embattled Democratic candidate for Attorney General, has taken the stage at the Spanberger/Obama rally. It was not clear if he was going to be here. He is from Norfolk and tells the crowd, it feels good to be home. #VAGOV
I am honored to have the endorsement from Americans for Prosperity. Low taxes, affordable energy, and protecting Right to Work are my priorities in Richmond.
Thank you to AFP for your support and endorsement!

Happy Halloween. There’s nothing scarier than a pediatrician-turned-legislator who: A) won’t condemn Jay Jones and B) won’t protect girls in sports. Just sayin’
Thank you @michaeljknowles for highlighting the hypocrisy of those on the left who denounce political violence but continue to stand behind Jay Jones. Abigail Spanberger does not have the moral compass to call on her running mate to drop out after he called for the murder of Todd Gilbert, his children, and cops. It's disqualifying and it's why we need to elect @winwithwinsome.
Common sense, not nonsense! So glad to welcome @winwithwinsome and @JohnReid4VA here in Yorktown yesterday for a rally! We had a great crowd and enthusiasm as we enter into the final stretch of this campaign! Get out and vote!
I’m a dad. I have a family to support. I understand that things add up. We can make life easier by letting you keep more of your paycheck. I firmly believe that.
Virginians are working harder than ever just to make ends meet. It shouldn’t be this hard to live, work, and raise a family here. We need to get serious about tackling the affordability crisis, and that starts with cutting waste, lowering taxes, and putting families first.
➡️The cost of living in Virginia is out of control.
➡️Families are stretched thin.
We can’t tax and spend our way out of this; We need real solutions to make life affordable again. That’s why I’ve supported numerous bills to reduce the tax burden while maintaining strong fiscal policy.
As long as Democrats hold the majority in the House, we’ll never get rid of the car tax. When my Republican colleagues and I tried to get rid of the tax last year, Democrats blocked it. So we fought for rebates instead. It’s a step in the right direction, but I won’t stop fighting until the car tax is gone for good!
Let’s. End. It.
