Also, yes, I was aware that Twitter/X unexpectedly changed its image layout to the point where one has to scroll through instead of viewing all 4 images at once and, YES, I personally prefer to use https://t.co/wbYPAexKKx for compiling images. So, THAT'S something to get used to!
My 32nd birthday on August 31st was pleasant because me, Michelle, her daughter Sophia and Grandma Vinzi ate out at United Buffet for a special birthday lunch. A while after Michelle dropped me home, I was treated to the same Hershey's chocolate cake I had last year. It was neat.
#CoyoteVsAcme was surprisingly engaging even though I did laugh at a handful of parts. 😄 It's quite a unique modern interpretation of the Looney Tunes universe, but it's mainly about Wile E. Coyote. While the CG Looney Tunes look decent, I wish all the toons were animated in 2D.
This marked the first time Michelle and Sophia had ever seen Muppet Treasure Island, but even though they disliked it for being boring, I knew that they think The Muppet Christmas Carol was better since they watch that movie every Christmas season! 😆
I went with Michelle and her daughter Sophia for Regal's SMX26 showing of Muppet Treasure Island. I may have already watched this one a few times in the past, but I still liked it. Tim Curry is by far the movie's standout human actor. Michelle and Sophia disliked it, shockingly!
Minions & Monsters, despite not being the most substantially engaging movie, may have had a small handful of surprisingly thrilling moments, particularly the climax with Irene the giant, multi-eyed blob, but I was rather indifferent towards it. Wasn't garbage, but it was "eeehh".
Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 5 was surprisingly decent because it's a little jab at children preferring playing on tablets instead of playing with real toys anymore. The one thing that was disappointing is that there was no straight-up antagonist, but this was better than I expected.
The Sheep Detectives turned out to be surprisingly complex for a movie that features talking sheep. It had a hidden mystery behind a shepherd's death. Honestly, while the movie shifts focus between the humans and the talking sheep, I went to see this movie mostly for the latter.
You know, it's honestly amazing that Sir David Attenborough would officially turn 100 years old on the 8th of May! I remember watching a handful of nature documentaries that feature him as either a host or narrator and yet he was able to outlive his older brother Richard. LEGEND!
#Easter2026 was nice and yet it was on the 5th of April this year. As I've known, Easter and Thanksgiving are the two holidays with constantly changing dates. On that day, my mother took me to Michelle's house and had an assortment of food, including a piece of piñata cake. Yum!
If you can believe it, it's been a LONG since my last post on Twitter (STILL can't get over how it's now called X). However, I've been forgetting that the end of the Mario Galaxy Movie's credits gave us a little anti-AI warning and yet this WASN'T AI-produced.

Michelle and I went to see The Super Mario Galaxy Movie on Tuesday the 7th and it was surprisingly enjoyable and yet Michelle and I thought it was better than Illumination's previous Mario movie in terms of how occasionally edgier it was in comparison, particularly the climax. 😮
I was surprised when Bowser Jr. used his paint brush to summon the Ruined Dragon from the Mario Odyssey game, and Bowser becomes Dry Bowser until he gets unexpectedly obliterated by Mr. Game & Watch. Ballsy stuff! There was also this post-credits moment with Princess Daisy in it!
One of the last trailers that played before Hoppers, though, was for the ALREADY POINTLESS live-action remake of MOANA, a movie that's roughly a decade old and yet it just released a SEQUEL!! We have the original CG Moana on Disney Plus at home! WATCH THAT VERSION INSTEAD!! 😡🔥
#Hoppers was an enjoyable romp because it had a surprising amount of edge compared to Elio. It's essentially an environmental story which centers around a girl named Mabel who spends a majority of the movie in the body of a beaver. That climax with the robot man was exilharating!
@quack591094 I did mention in my thread that Primal ironically manages to be a more adult piece of work than the raunchier Fixed despite both being produced by Genndy Tartakovsky, weirdly enough.
Seriously, though, you might want to check out Primal someday. The show's animation is GORGEOUS!
I loved that movie despite it flopping yet I'd personally like to see what Warner Bros can do for a proper sequel, as promised by Daffy Duck.
However, I'd STILL rather see Bye Bye Bunny: A Looney Tunes Musical actually come into fruition, simply because it has SO much potential!
The other two movies from Sony Animation actually stood out as more visually innovative to be since they at least felt more engaging compared to Fixed in terms of plot structure. Aside from all that, though, we're still waiting for the third Spider-Verse movie! Stop delaying it!!
The thing about #SonyAnimation's recent movies is that two of them (KPop Demon Hunters and GOAT) have been well-received for how unique they are in terms of visual beauty while only one of them (Fixed) had been criticized for how vulgar it was substantially. What rocky reception!
Fixed had been one of the passion projects from Genndy Tartakovsky and it earned an R rating, but Primal, one of his newest television creations, manages to be the more adult piece of content (ironically) due to its visually graphic violence suiting its substantially epic nature.
