Media literacy (and basic morality) is realizing that the point of every story featuring a traumatized villain is that pain and hatred can cause one to become a monster themselves, and while trauma can explain why they inflict suffering upon the innocent, it doesn't excuse it.
Been LOVING this style I've been using since March.
It basically combines my old traditional inking and colored pencil techniques into a digital style! A lot of the lineart takes far more time compared to my paintings, but it's so worth it! 🙏
Something about this just doesn’t feel pleasant to look at.
I want to say “overly animated” but while the camera is smooth the rest of the animation feels jittery, like it’s missing half its frames.
That and camera movement feels lacking. It’s going for a “Oner” but it’s too close to the effects to feel the scope of the battle and the constant spinning effect gets annoying after a while. Something static and more zoomed out with the occasional turn would let everything feel more weighty as a result 🤔.
