Advent day 1 - Ok we are back with the beer advent calendar. It’s been a while and this platform is sort of scuffed now.

Verdict - flavorful, big beer style. Decently wide appeal, similar to a bus (get it?)

Day 25 - Bourbon County, Goose Island

Verdict - it’s sort of the gold standard? Weird as I think living in the northeast shifts that a bit as there are great stouts here. Same token, notes of chocolate, vanilla, and a not heavy mouthfeel a+

Day 23 - LaGrave, Tröegs

Verdict - a very solid ale. It’s hard to break it out in a smart sounding way, but I will summarize it as a non raisiny ale with clear spices. Quite festive!

Dogs - banished due to hijinks. But enjoy my bonus trimmed semi boneless beef roast!
