#JNeurosci: Streng et al. performed wide-field Ca2+ recordings of the primary output neurons of the cerebellar cortex, Purkinje cells, and found that they are organized into distinct networks.

Excited to chair my first symposium at #APS25DC! 🎉
I’ll present “Investigating Momentary Psychosocial & Physiological Risk & Protective Factors for Suicidal Ideation in Daily Life” w/ Kirsten Christensen, Lori Scott, Rich Liu @ATsypes@AlexDombrovski1@aidangcw@PsychScience
I need people to understand how difficult it is to get an NIH grant. You spend months writing a proposal, following strict guidelines that include a detailed multiyear budget, bios of everyone on your team, plans for participant safety & ethical conduct. Then you send it off -1/n
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our DCNS participant, James S. Brown. He was an intelligent young mind who was extremely passionate about research and is missed dearly. Please consider donating below to help his family honor his life

SIX OUT OF SIX ‼️ 🤩
EVERY @MINDScholars who applied for #GradSchool this year has been ACCEPTED into a program 🙌🏾
I’m BEAMING with pride 💖
If you know a student who wants to get a PhD in neuro & needs PAID experience, our applicants close Friday 😉 https://t.co/pI3WBXoxnv
I think my favorite part about being a director for the @MINDScholars program is seeing how these complete strangers become a whole supportive community 💕
They will really carry these friendships throughout grad school & beyond! I love how much they care about each other 🥹
Our MINDS grad app submission celebration was a success 🙌🏾 and I guarantee their applications are MUCH better than their Pictionary skills 😂
So proud of all our post-bacc scholars who submitted this cycle!! 👏🏾👏🏾🎉
Fingers crossed for good news about interviews 🤞🏾✨
I'm starting my life from scratch, post-divorce. Looking for full-time opportunities in the DC area, or remote. This is very urgent. Open to opportunities in science communication, and science education. At this point, I'll even go back into the laboratory as a formal scientist.
I have realized how easy it is to compare yourself to others during the final stages of the PhD admission process. I have found avoiding academic twitter entirely helps. Nothing against those who’ve been admitted, but where are those who didn’t? Normalize supporting them too 🫶🏽❣️
What a great weekend at #ABRCMS2022. I was honored to have been recognized for an outstanding presentation in the Physiology and Pharmacology discipline! Feels amazing to build stronger relationships with the other @MINDScholars, and network with other brilliant STEM students!
