@mickthestick6@skyshimii I'm moving to the country next week and the nearest gas station in probably 20 miles away, right now its 200 yards. I hope that will help me quit.
@WallStreetApes end of the day it was a management issue that made me walk out, not that I didn't have work ethic or wasn't good at my job. other people didn't have work ethic and were horrible, yet I get chastised for not having a fucking walkie.
@WallStreetApes I had a decent job at amazon, was fast tracked to the robotics team, but we had hand me down robots that broke down every 5 minutes. I would walk 15-20 miles a night 6pm-6am fixing them. Then I had a 'mandatory volunteer day' during peak season and had the worst manager ever.
@WallStreetApes we didn't have enough walkies to go around so i was without one. after going up 5 stories to find any left.. NONE. My normal M-F managers loved me, I did the work of 3 people. This one asshole on a Sat made me quit. I went for lunch and never went back.
@kenziefitnz I was watching some of the Phil Heath Super Show from Dallas TX yesterday, you would have killed it, but I'm not sure what class you compete in.
@asparagoid I went away to Florida to help my dad remodel his retirement home, came home, she had food, pretty old litter and no water in her bowl. and I trusted someone at least do the water every 2-3 days. but she just came dumped some food. cat died of kidney failure 3 weeks later.
@bikelakecity@SkylerBeltran bikes are not permitted on sidewalks. sidewalks are for pedestrian use only. Bikes are considered a vehicle and must ride on the road. granted this could inconvenience someone with a large stroller.
@DFWStormChasing also already had a 90+ degree day and a few 85+, open windows at night, let the house cool down, close it up before it gets warm, block the sun with curtains, solar heating adds a lot more than people think, open curtains in winter.
