If you had missed the news, Ken Paxton recently cut a deal that reduced the lifetime sentence of a man who raped a 6-9 year old boy over the course of 3 years to only 29 days in prison. He was released yesterday without so much as even having to register as a sex offender.

Context: TX Lt. Gov @DanPatrick was the Judge at the trial. Patrick took $3M from Paxton backers before the trial. Patrick is a Paxton donor himself. He ruled to limit testimony & blocked motions to compel Paxton & others to testify. @KenPaxtonTX wasn't "cleared", the fix was in.
