One small, hidden setting can cause recruiters to scroll past you when you apply for jobs.

If you have been applying for jobs on LinkedIn and nothing seems to move, you might simply be invisible on the backend.

The good news is that you can fix it quickly.

Here is what to do:

📍 Open LinkedIn and go to your Messages section.

📍 Tap the three dots at the top right.

📍 Select Manage settings.

📍 Under Job seeking preferences, tap Job application settings.

📍 Turn on Share your profile when you click Apply for a job. This helps recruiters view your profile instantly.

📍 Switch on Signal your interest to recruiters at companies you have job alerts for. It quietly shows your interest.

📍 Under Share job alerts, enable Signal Interest to Recruiters, this increases your visibility.

These small switches make you more visible to recruiters who are searching for someone with your skills.
