This is so powerful. Inspired by the March of a Thousand Robes in Poland, retired and sitting judges in the United States walked down the streets of Columbus to stand up for the Rule of Law. @DemRisingCollab@keep_republic
Powerful words from Justice Michael Donnelly (ret.) who shared what's at stake for the next generation: "Every generation receives the same question: What will you do with the Constitution you inherited? Will you leave it weaker, or will you leave it stronger?"

📍Justice In Motion Day 3 Cleveland
Kicked off the day with a press conference at the fed courthouse . Our speakers come from all ends of the political spectrum, but stand united in their commitment to the rule of law and independent judiciary. #ruleoflaw#justiceinmotion
As Cohen put it: "I thought about my friends in Ohio and my family in Beaver Creek, and how the people that will stand up for this country are always those who understand it on a personal level instead of an academic context exclusively."
"The #RuleofLaw is something I've always believed in... held strong to... if we lose that, if we lose people's trust in the judiciary, our democracy can't survive. So we have to keep reinforcing it. We have to tell people who are busy with their lives... because it matters.”
