Thank you to Cheryl Rosen for capturing some great photos from our quarterly WDCC meeting! We heard an informative presentation from Jesse Littlewood on the Coalition for a Healthy Democracy, followed by candidate speeches.
We appreciate all candidates who were able to attend and share about themselves and why they’re running. While municipal elections are nonpartisan, it was wonderful to hear from several registered Democrats participating in contested races.

Today we honor Juneteenth, commemorating the end of slavery in the United States and celebrating Black freedom, resilience, and joy.
As Democrats, we stand for equity, justice, and the protection of civil rights.
Juneteenth is a reminder that the journey toward justice and equality is ongoing—and that a truly inclusive democracy is one we must keep working to build together.
We are deeply saddened to share that Carole Thompson, a dedicated Member of the Worcester Democratic Ward 9 Committee, passed away on May 20th.
Carole was a tireless advocate for Democratic values and an unwavering supporter of countless campaigns over the years.
